They delete items, but only holiday items that were used during the events. It has achievement diaries, and the rewards are just some weak armor with some effects, or the ability to low-alch stuff 30 times a day.
a) It can't get badges. b) 6-year RuneScape player feels that RuneScape was a good game. Since the graphics update (July 1, 2008), the game is only getting worse. In my opinion, they need to do what they did with RSC. Leave it alone and make a new game. Just undo all that was done since July 1, 2008, and put it into a new game. What are the odds that they actually do this? I'm guessing 1/over9000 or so. c) Don't use gay as an insult please? It's stupid to use a word to mean something that it doesn't mean.

Has anyone else noticed that if you change the a in RuneScape to an i then read it backwards it's pronounced "epic sinner?"
