2 ways to beat the end: mass up everything you have, while shooting arrows (this will decrease the hobbit and angel production.) I won with this technique before.
After seeing some walkthroughs, I tried to win again by massing hobbits and angels only w/ arrows. It also works. But! If you are using hobbits, be sure that you make a constant flow. You should have noticed that the game allows a limited number of keystrokes at once(which usually affects the usage of elemental arrows), so if you use elemental arrows, angles, and hobbits together, the flow can stop and the end may move freely. It happened to me when I tried, and when I noticed it, the end was near my castle (phew, it didnt hit)
@Donatien lol i press all the buttons at the final level, 1-7, A+SDF(one by one since they don't work together) since there is a constant flow of enemies near the end, you get enough mana to spawn everything in your hand(almost.)
... i got madagascar for beginning... and the whole nation is infected... i'm using the walkthrough btw, and no other countries are infected... the f.ck madagascar?
@ohrealy also a tip for u if u want to develop fast:
speed makes you get more resources faster, and the time of wandering on the middle decreases (because they go somewhere else, but this one isn't that effective on the game)
life, which is considered as a useless thing among the others, (actually i like this one most) makes your workers last a little bit longer, allowing them to get more levels, resources, and more souls(since they lv up more)
sight, this one is very important, since when you expand, your workers won't get the resources on the far end because they can't see them
land, you were talking about your resources, and your buildings. this is the upgrade (most expensive and most dependant on others) that gives you more resource spawn since u have more land, some expansion of your settlement, and more population cap (since you get more supply buildings) to get more workers (more souls indirectly)
great game! also@ Siveran interesting way to start that i found: get life+sight, and speed+sight at beginning, and put your ppl at a single location, and they will gather everything around for you a few upgrades later. when there are a lot of ppl for the first land, i got land upgrade. in 15 mins or something like that, i was able to get 1-2 upgrades of each type while maxing my pop.
