This.... Isn't good. If it wasn't for the epic quest I would've stopped playing a while ago. The game's attempt at 'combos' falls flat because there is one attack button. I'm not sure if it's the jumping or the terrain, but the platforming feels cheap. When I die, I don't feel like it was my fault. I always think it was something wrong with the game that killed me. This thing is cheap and just poorly made, and should be ashamed to have the Castle Crashers name attached to it. I know it's free, but there are so, so many better free games that don't feel like they're wasting your time, despite the fact they most likely are. This is just rushed. I'm sorry to have to say (well, type) that.
This isn't easy. However, I got the hang of it surprisingly easily after a few lost games, and it is quite fun and satisfying. It's a good distraction for a few mins or a good way to get rid of those pesky 'friends' if Mario Party isn't available.
Hang on, didn't the rebels have a shield generator on Hoth specifically designed to protect from interplanetary bombardment?
I hope they saved the receipt for that.
Don't touch the final weapon's upgrades, it actually lowers it's DPS, making the penultimate weapon better fully upgraded. Other than that, everything seems really quite nice.
My big problem with the game is it's replacement for random encounters: The whole 'zombies bursting through the ceiling/wall' thing. It might not seem like a problem early-game, but late game I'm just trying to search this one house and zombies are making so many holes in the wall it should've collapsed by now. Not only that, I ended up at one point the game kept giving me a message that these zombies were 'no threat' and therefore I was getting no EXP for killing them despite the fact there were hundreds of the things bursting through the walls. I eventually just gave up looting every house because it was such an annoyance and just did the main quest til I finished the game. It's a big problem with this game. Is it something to do with the amount of noise you make? I've seen zombies burst through the ceiling when I was standing still doing nothing....
It needs the ability to start from certain levels (etc: Half of your high score level-wise). And there are situations where you just can't see your killer coming and you die unfairly. It would be so much better if it just had a 'start at x level' thing. Seriously, this kills the game.
As the game says, 'summoning blood in you vein'.
The translation (I'm assuming it was translated) isn't very good. You can gather what's happening after some thought, but it makes very little sense.
This game should be in Unity. It goes for a kinda 3 dimensional look and aiming through sights seems to be a highly requested feature. Switching while reloading would be a lot better too. Rage mode seems a mite pointless, as all it seems to do is put the game in slow-mo and allows you to reload at the same speed. It should serve more purposes (eg. more accuracy/less recoil or more damage), or do the Max Payne approach where you use the slow-mo tactically to dispatch enemies quickly so they don't damage you. It would be much better if you could activate/deactivate rage at any point or it just served other, secondary purposes.
