If you're getting severe lag, try holding down the mouse button on what you're trying to click. That way the game will just be slow, not completely unresponsive!
Whoops, human spells don't boost trading! That makes staffs decisively stronger than butcher+trading. Looks like the butcher build needs another buff. (Really though, I'd prefer that the butcher build be buffed by increasing base production, not by adding more active-play bonuses.)
There's a glitch if you deselect an "all remaining points" perk while you have some points remaining. Depending on how you react to that glitch, it's possible to wind up with a ridiculously large number of assim points.
Horses require to reach each building level: 21: 0 horses; 22: 1 horse; 23: 4 horses; 24: 7 horses; 25+: 9 horses. 9 horses is enough for any building level. Note that the Huge Spaces bonus and the Blast Furnace bonus to Mines count as horses for this purpose.
@Ryansoldier Actually there's now a way to get that necessary initial food without warehouse (spend a nomad assim point on the food bonus for wagons), so warehouses are once again nigh-useless. (A little extra food does speed up most starts, though.)
The replacement for city walls shouldn't be for a new race - it should be for elves or druids. Waiting until you're doing Nomad assims to get a replacement for City Walls is far too late, especially since City Walls become useful again once you stop running Druid Groves.
As an alternative to my previous suggestion: City Walls still needs an alternative. A Nomad building that works very well with Butchers but not so well with Masters would fit nicely there. (That building should also work sort of OK with a forest build, because forest builds will be basically forced to use it.)
Unfortunately, now that the mosquito multiplier is back, butchers are once again inferior to masters. It's kinda disappointing that the hard-to-set-up wagon/butcher build never has any real payoff for the effort. To fix this, I suggest adding a druid assim perk that grants one staff even when not using Masters. This would make butchers more credible, and also give the druids something to do on butcher runs besides adding a BP bonus.
Butcher and wagon will be back in the game as soon as you complete a nomad assimilation... presumably. At least, I still have those buildings, and I've completed a nomad assimilation.
Butcher's tent is also a bit weak. This could be fixed in the nomad assimilation point update, by adding a boost that says "Multiply food and gold production by your wagon count". (Then using wagons and butchers together would make sense - right now it doesn't.)
