Poor game design - you're required to grind to get all the unlocks for a tier, but the game counters grinding by reducing the number of drops per run through, meaning that if you get stuck on a level, there's a limited number of effective attempts you have before you might as well restart the whole game from scratch.
Bug workarounds - if the elevators get stuck, delete the elevator and people should move to a different one. Ideally upgrade to skyhooks/fireman poles/suction tubes to avoid elevator issues.
If the offices/people disappear, freeze the game, then unfreeze..
If people are stuck, click on them, select move, then cancel. If that doesn't work, just fire them and replace with a new employee.
If the buttons don't respond, click outside the game window, then back in the game window.
Hope these helps.
Scrape time is totalled up from all playthroughs and is used to calculate whether you get a feat or not. Look at Feats-Stats to what you've currently got.
For those people having problems with spawns and hoppers getting through their maze, build your maze more securely and not have half square overlaps between blocks
Glitch on police department level - I appeared to have started in an out of bounds section above play area, as I can't move or shoot, any barricades I buy spawn out of site and zombies can't reach me.
Primary gripe is that the design doesn't permit for easy modification of a single piece (you have to delete the entire piece with all attached joints, then start all over again) leading to a perfect exercise in frustration as you spend 5 minutes rebuilding something that would have taken 30 seconds in fantastic contraption. More time spent on ease of use would have gone a long way.
I can confirm amertune's experience with the Blackmail card. I play, he discards, goes to next round. He plays, I discard, he plays another card, goes to next round.
Is there any chance of resizing the playing field so that it fits in a 1024x768 screen? Currently it's just slightly too big and the next resolution up (1152x864) causes me a bit too much eyestrain for long playing sessions.
Good game, well executed, but has a few bugs that need ironing out:
Sometimes when trying to place a piece, it doesn't show up in the screen and only shows up after you press the start button, requiring a restart to complete the level.
Another bug is when trying to move a piece, it becomes stuck to the cursor and only by randomly clicking all over the screen does it become unstuck.
