game suggestion, when you cycle through your equipment menu, the things that CAN be equiped on whatever character you are looking at should highlight green, and either have the ones that can be equip either red or how they are, neutral. if you wanted to get fancy, you could make the ones close to being able to be equip yellow or orange, but honestly just making some green when they can be equiped would be nice.
small bug that may not be worth fixing but i'd appreciate it. when you win a round, and the victory screen pops up, if you dont move your mouse, even if you click it wont click any of the 3 options until you move the mouse even the tiniest bit.
now as for my review of the game, i love it, i really do, 5/5 easy. as for an improvement, i would that maybe clarify exactly how useful rebirthing is? my top guy is only level 56, so he cant rebirth yet, but as far as i can tell, when he hits 100, and is able to rebirth, his inital stats increase by 5 measly points. so his first life he started with the inital stat of 15 strength and after 100 levels, he starts over with 20 strength, which is so not worth it in my personal oppion unless im missing something. the level of the character doesnt seem to affect it because my level 1 also says he would rebirth with only 5+ increase to his starting stats as well. the only thing i can think of is after 100 (maybe say level 110) you rebirth to stats that are +6 so 15 strength would turn into 21 starting strength and keep increasing like that as you level up your character before rebirthing. either way more information on rebirths would be appreciated, ty dev. for the great game nevertheless
Thanks! : ) Rebirths
aren't a must for all characters, they get +5 stats for the first rebirth, +10 for the second rebirth(lvl110) + 15 for the third one, and up to +40 for all stats (Which is a lot, progress isn't as steep as is in most idle games)
I can understand rebirths does not seem like a very rewarding system, but it's supposed to be a "slow lategame improvement": when you have lvl 100+ characters it gets easier to bring a new (stronger) one to level 100 by doing harder missions, so it's not something you should do right away on your first character, but a useful tool to use further in the game, i might think about adding some bonuses if more people feel that way : )
reading through these comments and thought i should back up what sirspikey has said, sometimes, if you skip a few slots, then place a character, when you go to fight, they appear on the map for a second or two, then disappear and even tho you equiped 2 people, only one stays loaded in and fights, im way past not having enough people to fill in all the slots, it was just something i was noticing myself. it did indeed fix itself if you placed them in different slots than the one you saw them disappear from. so in simpler terms, if you have 5 slots to choose from, and you put a guy in slot 1 and a guy in slot 2, slot 2 guy wont stay loaded in the fight scean, so if you flee, and move the guy down to slot 3, he most likely will stay loaded in that time.
so i've bought the fountain twice and both times says try again, if you're gonna make the drop rate that rare on auto collect and that rare to drop in general then saving up to 42 is a pretty big deal (much less 125 for a rare candy thats most likely gonna be a 1 hour skip which is nothing really) then for 84 tokens i should of gotten SOMETHING, come on man i bet its not even worth the original 42 :/
People wanted a way to burn through their excess tokens, so I added in the wishing well. I should put a warning about that, since the well is only meant for people with 1000s of spare tokens
so this game is finally dead? i played it when it was in beta, gave up on it, came back like a year later, beat it and it was still in beta, waited another 2 years then found it again fully completed again? i guess? well i beat it again anyways. hope its updated more
Agreed. Rather than increase the reward, ive reduced the timer. The bird now triggers 90% faster than before, the goal here is to make it essentially a part of your money earning rather than a reward after a long wait time. The chance of a gem has gone up as well.
late game spike is still sadly way to long, i get its a 10% increase each time but its just too much, yes the wizard and driller and bombers are stronger than the pick but you made the delays on each of them too slow, i've said this about this game before but i have an auto clicker that clicks 2 times ever 1milisecond, and i've been leaving it on the rock clicking away with the miner for 20 minutes and i went from 1 red gem (the one you get when you have the zombie miner) to 33 red gems, and i need 275 gems to smash the rock, i was so happy when i saw this game was updated for i havnt played in months but still just as disappointed as ever, i do like that the chest we fixed, but you have to add late game upgrades to the shop that cost money not gems that can just give you a little more boost, or dont make it where you have to beat the game to prestiege, considering beating the game makes replaying pointless and its nearly impossible to get there anyways.
Hey Bryan. Thanks for the feedback. Achievements now give boosts, this was to do what you suggested in giving the end game a bit of a boost. If you still think this is now as enjoyable as it could be send me a PM about any ideas you might have, im genuinely interested in hearing from you.
helpful tip: best income per second i've noticed is clicking the bomb guys bombs as soon as they leave his/her hand. even better when he's on fire. Best when he's on fire with a buddy <3
i have an autoclicker, and it clicks obviously really fast, and it still takes me hours to get to the next rock, and if i leave it afk (firefox) game usually crashes after 3 to 4 hours. pretty sad. Rip all non autoclicker users for having to spend days to smash a rock :/ games not even fun for me anymore, game probably seems pretty bad to them.
Ill look in to the crashing in firefox. As for your time issues, each rock takes approx 10% longer than the last (very loose math) which grows exponentially with character growth. The game is worth a week or so of casual play, so I have no idea how with an autoclicker its taking you so long unless your not upgrading your miners as you go.
is there a way to reshrink the screen size of the game? cause its annoying now that i have to scroll up to see my money, and down to see the stats of production on items
I wasn't able to find a way to set a dynamic resolution. You could try to run the browser in fullscreen mode by pressing f11 while the game is unfocused. Other than that, you can change the size by pressing Control and + or -. You can reset this with Control and 0.
there should be a way to disable the auto-level decrease when you die. When im trying to farm, i can kill 200 or 300 enemies on a level but they do small trickle damage. eventually, I die then go down a level that gets me almost no money. plz give an option to disable this. just have that level restart.
Random Game Idea - Since when you zoom out, you can clearly see some of the enemies spawn, maybe have a pitch black shadow or maybe fog to cover them so it looks like they are coming from somewhere instead of just spawning? It also would make the in game timer easier to see.
It was kind of complicated with how my current equip system works, but i made an experimental version of that : )
