There should really be a trader to convert stars to ore and vice-versa, and maybe controlling where shots go using the mouse, this way you don't end up having all your weapons focusing on destroying the minor ships instead of the bosses, ultimately leading to death.
on my first try, i grew the tree without maxing out any maxed out upgrades, and had to fight the tree with a sniper rifle, nice ending one of the few games where the good guy doesnt win
i think the new secret weapon is the sword, i dont remember that being there before, if you want to find it yourself STOP READING, for all of you cheaters who cant find it yourselves, its located at the village with the turret on a rock to the North-West
maybe in the sequel having things that reflect the signal around corners and areas that the towers cant be placed into to add to the challenge, really great game though 5/5
just take a maker, get maximum weapons range which increases storage of friendly creeper (wierd right?), then when you charge it up to the maximum send it into the creeper and release all
