I picked up a magic swirly called Fire and it gave me a fire power. Cool. So how come I pick up a magic swirly called Ice and it gives me a gem power? Wtf?
making "shield" and "charge weapon" the same control must be the stupidest design decision I've ever seen. I can't tell you the number of times I've gotten hit because I suddenly stopped blocking and ran into a fireball.

You have no control over it; it just happens when the right tiles fall in from the sky after you make a match.
You know the game is mediocre when the programmer doesn't even bother to spell-check it. I find myself agreeing with the geek every time he comments on the poor game design.
Drives me crazy that a lot of the puzzles rely on luck to get the perfect score. "Croissant" is the latest example I played. For these types of puzzles you should be able to rely completely on logic and not have to guess.
