Nice follow up. In some ways I preferred the first, for instance the focus is a little claustrophobic for me (I know, we're in a cave) and the original was more puzzle like, which was part of it's charm. But this game is good, it's at least a 4.
A suggestion: Since we don't get to save the potions for the next run, how about an auto use option so that instead of dying we drink a pot? (and maybe even auto cast heal)
I see you say the QWE has been fixed, but I don't see how. I still have to mash buttons and it makes what is an otherwise good game unplayable for me. Did I miss an update or an added option?
If you've had high motormouth upgrade, then fast switching is quite normal by then.
When you get to later levels, sometimes even the old bug won't net you a sure win.
also, we're on version 1.05, is that the one displaying on your screen?
The game originally had mana to cast spells.
We also tried going with that auto direction you're suggesting, but things got too boring in the long run and lose the value of rune diversity and builds.
