I figured out the card puzzle (apply the figure boat to the 'shut the box'). But I'm stumped as to how to USE the magnet. It doesn't seem to do anything when I click the magnet and the bottle.
Sketching appears to be a non-functional ccard. Copying Eating and inspiration both did nothing -- although after copying eating, I gained more health from an effect than expected - +25, rather than +15, from an Apple Pie, back to full health.
Really? Sketching gains you a card in the deck, but it won't draw it at the same time, I am not sure if this happen by accident, more details would be fine.
Better question- Master of Wisdom. where the hell? I have 'Find the Tavern Quest' in the north quarter, but no master spawns to guide there and I can't unlock the tavern.
FINISHING LAST BUG REPORT:
mistake in my skills selection, I reset again, and allocated my stats. The first I allocated 40-70s/80s-62-67. The second reset, 40-86-60-60.
However, after the second reset, I cannot move in towns. I can access no merchants. When I spawn in battle, I spawn with -16/-16 health.
I am level 45, equipped lvl 5 Bloody Pact/Vampiric +10 Grim Reapers, and +10 lvl 5 Fire/Dark/Holy Enchanted Nomad Boots, +10 lvl 2/3/5 Poison Wanderer Armor, and +10 lvl5 Frost lvl 2/3 Lightning Nomad Bandana.
I originated from the Snake Clan.
I am using Google Chrome.
Bug Report:
Seems to be an error in the accounting of the Health Points Stat. The only cause I can see would be a Reset or a double reset- (I am unaware of the previous stats) Noticed during a monster hunt or two, my health would occassionally be lowered during battle; I put this up to a poison effect. After fighting Cursed Spiders my health went to maximum of 24XX (I believe 2426, may have been 2492 or 2416... I can't really remember). I looked for a cause in my equipments or enchantments, but finding none, I went on to fight. Fighting the Black Dragon my health dropped to staggeringly low levels- a maximum of 288. It never rose, and I was being instakilled in fighting towns. So I reset. Making a
With the adventuring system in place as you have it, where you lose ALL gold and items gained through an adventure, and a limited number of 'get out of jail free cards' (teleport orbs), the Golden Skull is a way of saying to a player without any orbs left 'You are now f**ked, say goodbye to the last 45 minutes of work.'
With how expensive things are and how difficult it is to make and keep gold, we MUST be able to sell our equipment. This is non-negotiable for continued success of this game.
Yeah, unbalanced, way too grindy, no way to sell equips or regain funds/materials used to buy troops/equips, interesting but way too unstable battle system, and a means of 'adventuring' that just screams 'SCREW THE PLAYERS.'
Fixing ANY of these might make the game less unwinnable, but as is, this is ridiculous. I'm stopping now before I waste any more time.
1/5 until the devs get their sh*t together.
Alright, couple of things.
The first, this game is a bit unbalanced. Yes, the combat system works fine, and is interesting, but it is finicky as all hell. The 2D Artist Unit, Adamtny, for example, averages about 400 damage initial attacks, and quickly ramps. My question is why, about 1 in 8 times his 'Sky Diving' Attack crits, he does anywhere from 8,932 to 140,527. What is up with that?
The second is a hearty 'F*CK YOU!' to the developers. And this is for one reason alone: On one of the special challenges, the lvl 25, 102 Area ArtLogic one. Then, on the 94th floor, after using 6 life bottles to keep myself alive in the past, I encountered in a Portal Strong Enemies. That's fine, I can do this. What I did not expect was to encounter the Strong Enemy 'the Golden Skull'- a 1HKO Golden Giant Skully with AN UNKNOWN NUMBER OF HITPOINTS.
Say, where's the shop that sells bonus lvl 4?
Also, a few tips:
Level 12 is not that hard. It takes a bit of skill to jump when the jumpers are halfway down to get the coins up left, but not too much.
Level 13: Wait for the Elite Ninjas to turn their backs, then freeze them. It they aren't 'looking' at you, they won't jump away when you freeze them and you can wreck them with bombs and knives or explosive envelopes.
Hmm... I really like the game. 4/5 on potential.
Suggestions:
Movement is a pain in the @ss. If you could put arrow buttons on each of the cardinal directions, to click and move to, that would be SUPER helpful.
Perhaps have a possible treasure as a "stat shard" which, if you collect say 5 of them, would increase your base stat by a certain amount.
Lastly, I would ask that the location start randomizer does not go outside a (400,400) radius. Getting a really great character roll and then starting at 950,950 to be pulped by a size 8 stirge is disappointing.
Bugs:
If I type in a blank for any of the 'movement' text boxes, and then hit confirm, I get a NaN reading for the placement. Unfortunately, NaN is not next to anything and prevents me from moving. A safety or a fix on that would be great, as I've lost two of my games already doing that.
Only the Experimento starts out further than a 30 step radius from 0,0. I'll definitely add a fix for that bug with 'MoveTo'. Thanks for the 2 comments BudgyBSA, I'll message you for more detail on the rest of what you asked :)
