out of curiosity does the foundry check to see if your mine is keeping up with it's production? my steel production doesn't seem to slow down once I run out of iron.

It does actually. When you run out of one of the resources, it reduces production to match what you can create. The per second values displayed do not change, but the actual production represents that.

wow. the music is so relaxing it's a challenge to stay awake and catch the pieces! very nice game
