Also, what's wrong with lvl 2 in adventure. I seem to run out of fuel despite doing fine 10-15 combos. Even in those, I spend fuel faster than I make it...
Something needs to be done about the fact that you can blow up in midair during a 30+ combo, which would more than fullfill the xp-requirement for next level. Otherwise, good game.
I won the impossible badge after several tries. I upgraded the flak factory first, as much as possible, all the way to level 4. I then only fire at the rockets that are threathening the main base or the flak factory, and let anything else die. I use the flak tower whenever it's above half shield. I upgrade reload fully before buying shield.
Once you're around 55k points, there's so many explosions that the shaking-screen feature makes it impossible to aim your missiles. That's a crying shame, because the game is very good an addictive untill then.
It's all about the jumps. Just jump straight up, make sure you get a nice entry, and then turn around as fast as possible to jump straight up again. When you pass the nebulae, you're over 150, and then go for the bellyflop! That's the way for the hard badge... Now I just have to go that extra mile for the impossible one. :)
The small 'map', and the fact that enemy ships drift downwards makes it impossible to avoid a meele once there're more than 4 or so enemy ships. Since these can have up to 200 crews, and since they will flock to you once you're locked in meele, the later levels are damn hard... and that's not meant in a good way.
There should be some way to save progress, so I don't have to do the same 3-put holes over and over again when blowing a shot on the 7th or 8th hole. That makes the gold-medals tedious, not challenging...
I liked the game after easy, and was quite prepared to give it a 5/5. Then I tried uneasy, and was suddenly facing moving saws, making the game about fast reflexes rather than carefull planning. Straight down to 1/5. Don't promise one thing and then deliver another!
