I still think that when a player quits, he should be declared loser. As stands, you can quit when you're not behind in an absolute sense, but with a clear tactical disadvantage. You might loose points, but your opponents does not count as the winner. That sucks!!
I take back my early 4, and downgrade it to a 1. A game where the sides doesn't have equal pieces, and where you can't even see what powers your opponents pieces have is nowhere near chess. In addition, a game where your opponent can cheat you of victory by leaving when you have a tactical advantage, but before you start taking pieces is crap.
I like the basic idea, but wholehearted agree with Argent below. Untill that is fixed it won't get more than 4/5.
Also, allthough the comments before each level are fun, they get tiresome when you have to replay the level. Some option to skip them would be appreciated.
Since my strategy is to send out a huge amounts of TRL-T's, and then let then flood the maze with my fliers swooping in for the kill, the game gets very laggy.
There is currently no option for something as simple as concentrating fire on one opponent. The follow target option doesn't set the targetted robot as target for fire, only for movement.
I received my badge just fine...
Before you get it, you have to go to the 'Settings'-menu and erase savegame. Be warned that this means you have to start from lvl. 1... However, the badge is awarded for solving 30 levels, nopt for reacing lvl. 30. So you can get it by doing lvl. 1-20, erase saves, and do lvl. 1-10 for a total of 30.
I retract what I said below. This game is difficult, but if you spend the sand levels going for bonus tiles, you should have a collection which will help you through the later levels.
This game has two problems: a) the speed at the angle/power bar becomes to move to fast at the higher levels, and b) if you make just one bad flight, you won't have enough money to stand at a chance at those higher levels.
I really, really like this one. A trick: when the large boulders come, try to stop them, without blowing them off screen. No boulders will arrive when the large ones are on screen, giving you time without danger.
