It would be awesome, if we could save the formation and units, in order to experiment with a new layout without having to reconstruct the old one if we failed...
After having had some fun with the quest-part, I decided to spend 5000 gold on a PvP-duel... only, as lvl. 16, to be pairing with a lvl. 266. This porparbly means my only chance to ever get into a realistic PvP is simply to grind for ages in the quest-part. Frankly, that sucks, and could easily be solved with some sort of balancing in the PvP-arenas.
If you want to win, just press f5 whenever you've lost a game. The game saves just before each match, so a refresh before the match is over will allow you to replay it.
The inclusion of bayonets make the enemy spawnpoints a levelling machine. Just place a bayonet-armed soldier where he covers both possible spawn-points, and he'll automaticly kill them as they spawn, reaching lvl. 8 very fast. Repeat with next soldier, and you'll soon have a max'ed squad.
Awesome game. A clear and welldeserved 5/5. However, I'd like a best position and best time-record for each track, for those of us playing it again and again... It would be great to see if you actually improved.
Truly a disappointment after the first two. Things just get handed to you without any reason or thinking on your part, and the ending is far to abrubt, not to mention out of feel with the main characters behaviour. If this is the end, it's a poor one. If not, then it's a poor episode in an otherwise great series!
I'd not call it a RPG when there's only one choice to make at all. RPG's are all about controlling your character, but in this game you're forced to follow the plotline, and during the game, the only thing you can chose is which sideplots to ignore (in the cafe).
Strategy for an extremely easy game: Buy the springfield after the first level, then buy German MG's, and place them every second square starting from one end of the trench. The area covered by MG's can be left alone, so you only have to focus on at most one half of the battlefield. After lvl. 13, I didn't fire a single shot, and just watched my men take care of everything by themself.
Hire yourself a spy and a tank. run through the stage with the spy, saving all civilians/VIPs, and collecting all stars. Then switch to the tank, and blow everything up!
I guess this si one hard badge I'm not getting. Not because the game is difficult, but because I can't be bothered to sit through 15 levels in one go.
A save feature would be nice. It could still be hardcore, with the save being erased on death.
Regeneration is the key to succes. Once I had cloaks with 'gain 6 hp every 5 seconds' on both my mage and knight, I was set for succes. If the survived a rush, chances were they would be ready to face the next without me worrying about healing them. That meant I could throw my guards at the knight first, and the other twos later. I'll recommend holding on to such regenerating items, even though others might have better stats.
I just had two games in a row where I did not see a single order for opium... Consequently I lost, since I could not deliver the first tea-shipment (since I couldn't make any money).
Did the Chinse rehab-program just kick in, or is something wrong?
