The inventory can be frustrating, but it can either be seen as a setback or as a feature that forces you to economize. The jury's still out on what I think of it, as I'm only just getting to the point where it matters.
Tip to everyone: EVERY TIME you are back in Castaway, SAVE YOUR GAME, especially after the second generator. (well, this mostly is if you're sentimental with your pets....)
Nice game. The number of times I keep missing is a bit frustrating (how hard is it to run up to a man-sized bug and stab it with a sword? Really.) but not intolerable. I was so happy to find the equipment tab in the store. Medikits and heals, thank goodness! Will definitely be coming back to play more later.
I just gotta state my thoughts on the non-auto fast forward. I think it's good as it is. Because imagine if you find a massive crack in your defenses and really really need to spam down some spikes at the last minute. If that happens you probably don't have time to hit the button to turn off the fast forward, and then the bloons are going so fast you can't get the spikes down in time to keep yourself from losing. But that's just my (apparently very odd) opinion.
Fun game. Very addictive. And I have to say I love the way the baker's eye starts twitching after you stack a few cakes. My only issue with it is how long it takes to rack up the coins for the upgrade shop. 4/5
Good game, I liked it. Took me forever to get gold on level five because here it's par 1, and in the video it's par 2. Got it in the end, though. Badges, you are mine... 5/5
This is beautiful. If you set out to make people think... well you succeeded with me. Definitely agree that you have to play this twice. Or more. I'm going to play it a few more times. 5/5
Very nice. Clever usage of timing and physics to solve the puzzle. Beautiful background music. Simple and calming. Just was I was looking for tonight. (3:21am here and can't sleep but this is helping)
Positively beautiful game. Stunning, really. The music is gorgeous and the game is challenging, yet not to the point that I wanted to give up. I will admit that a couple of the scenes creeped me out pretty thoroughly. (Fun fact: "Ruminant crossing" really does, in a way, mean "giraffe crossing." Look it up if you don't believe me.)
I can truthfully say that yes, someone (insert 'innocent' whistling here) has leaked a bloon on level 1. Sigh. (First level Monkey Buccaneer has terrible aim)
Great game though. :D
Fun and simple, makes you think a bit in places. (I had to try one of those levels at least 5 times before I figured out the trick) The moveable light blocks were very cool, I'd love to be able to have those in real life! :D
NONE of the levels are impossible. If you think any of the early levels (like polywog) are impossible, give up now, 'cause you're going to tear your hair out if you get further.
Okay, that was... adorable. I didn't expect it to be that cute. Good game, challenging at first, but then mostly time-consuming. And how much does anyone want to bet that "T.O.U.S." stands for "Troll Of Unusual Size"?
