@MeowthRules, she's Hypatia, the only famous and most depicted scholarly educator that exist in the ancient Roman era. Unfortunately to some who prefer slim woman, she's portrayed by artists throughout the ages as a woman of voluptuous build. Some would agree that Rachel Weisz was cast as Hypatia in Agora for her beauty and figure.
@Sandyclawz: Thanks for clarifying. Although I can hardly understand where "you can charge $$$ only if have release in retail" is coming from. But luckily, for us, we will be releasing our retail version in Hongkong distributed by one of the largest game distributors in HK: GameOne (gameone.com) in motion. No sweat... lol... But that's probably the only one. No other Asian cities do retail boxes anymore unless you're really really big titles. It's almost always more profitable to distribute online only and more environmentally sound, if this is a relevant point at all for tree huggers out there. (I'm one, btw...lol) Not to mention if it's on US soil.
@Elliotgamer2, also, "pay to chat" a misunderstanding in a bad way on your part. We responded to this in our FAQ as well: It’s kinda twisted if you think of it, charging for world chat… But the world chat is, in fact, a very resources demanding feature that requires intensive server resources. Imagine every time a person say “Hello, world!” and we’d have to broadcast it to hundreds of other players. We don’t really want to limit chatting. It’s just that we haven’t really figured out a nice way to reduce the server load if our player base started to scale up in the future. Besides, it is encouraged that you chat in league chat, which is absolutely free of charge. It’s interesting to note some players do think it is a good thing to put a toll on World chat. Comment by Jehosephat: … I personally thought [a toll on world chat] was kind of a brilliant move and although you say it was designed to help server load, I had thought it was designed to prevent/reduce chat spam.

Our response: PR propaganda in the West are console box driven so it’s mostly about retailed box sales. Free access to a game with real-world money driven item mall is fairly new to the West. It’s not surprising that you feel angry and upset about the item mall and or some of the price tags. We just hope you can do some research on this new in-game economy trend and be understanding about it.

Like I said, it's a stone age debate and questions raised by many. It's fairly pointless to reiterate what everyone has discussed. You can try to make a stronger point by voicing your opinion in the relevant thread.
@tangem: It's impossible to make it myself. I'd be lying if I tell you if any developer tell you so that they can make a simulation city-building game all on one's own. It's a work by many. And I kinda felt embarrassed to say that Caesary is a way too over-budget creation. A few twist and turn of major development changes were made during the development causing delay. But it's now out. :D
@Elliotgamer2: I cannot believe you like developers who's inactive and unresponsive to gamers' comments. Besides, you seemed to have a lot of problem playing the game cuz you login 4 times and every time you stay for a few seconds and then leave. If the appearance of our game is so repulsive to you, then all I can say is that I'm really sorry. But please do not rate games merely for the appearance of them, if that's what you used to do.
@hend, your total in-game time is less than 1 minute. I would have been giving your more respect if you had really played the game for a while. But all of your discrediting phrases were dealt with and most debated before expect the boob one. So I'm going to tell you what from what here: our mom have boobs. But that's not the main issue. The main issue is that the only available well-known historical scholarly character is Hypathia. And rather "unfortunately" (in your eyes) she's been portrait as the one having large breast by all the artists throughout ages...

@fearedjames, Travian is not even the first of our genre. Our genre is based on a small developer and fans base of PBBG. Google it and you'd see. Some of our developers are among the pioneer the PBBG communities. It's just sad that PBBG got no credit (even bad ones) for anything throughout these days...

Our points of control on the main board are the least in our genre. It's simulation of the the real world. It's bound to be complicated. Only the sim-city RTS fans can appreciate. I'm sorry that you dislike our genre... But anyway, I can respect your etiquette. I'd Whisper this line to you instead of Shout.
@Wildkatz: Also, we paid no one and we don't believe any of the positive comments are paid. Check out the lowest rating game on Kong. You'd see a few positive comments. Beauty is in the eye of beholder. It's just normal. So paying is not necessary for positive comments. But instead, what you normally would like to check out are those reasonably structured negative comments which were given by those who has REALLY PLAYED the game. As developers, we always respect those comments and take them very seriously. If you don't want to waste time on a new game, you may want to look for those comments, too, instead of simply taking whatever comes out of some snag-judging players' mouths.

saber7, you've been in-game for less than 17 minutes according to our log. And I'm sorry that sim-city RTS is not for you. Our genre has been always been targeting a extremely small circle of fan base. It's nothing compare to fast-paced flash games as they're featured mostly on Kong. But the "crappier" word that you chose to describe our game is coming out of no where since you've been in-game for less than 17 minutes. You haven't got the the battle part yet which is unique to Caesary only. I hope you can give us a second chance with a comparison based on facts instead of thin-slicing judgment.
