great game, one little problem. the last 4 or so bosses are ridiculous. they are not hard, they are cheap. it takes me about ten seconds for me to figure out what you need to do to beat them. however, this usually requires you to use a certain skill at an exact moment over and over again, and if you miss just once you have to start all over again. and the final boss is a cheater, the skill you need misses half the time and sometimes he uses his special twice in a row, before your skill has the time to cool down. i call shenanigans
who's bright idea was it to make a low res stick figure game focused on high speed maneuvers but with a graphics leak so that it lags for a good majority of the players, making it unplayable? well played, you have wasted enough of my time, sir.
first things first... use your minimap and stay on the attack, stay moving firing behind you at the enemies following you to build up materials, staying on the edge of the enemy base to pull them right to you. upgrade your shield and allies right away (shield, then allies, allies, allies!). your allies will deal with stragglers while you deal with the main force. upgrades to engine and main gun are next, to keep you on par with newer and faster enemies, then save up for smart missiles, they will help A LOT. each time you increase your gun engine, and shield, try destroying a big yellow orb by following or leading it and peppering it continuously until one of you blows up. if it's you, that's ok, upgrade and try again, but you have to stay on them till they blow up or they will heal and you have to start all over again. max your allies, then work on shield, cannon, and engine, as each circle of yellow orbs gets faster as you get closer to the center. KEEP UPGRADING!
great game, but after getting all stars in all levels and secret levels... i still had 3 upgrades left to buy! later levels should give out way more cash if completed with higher stars, or more ground troops to add to money, because repeatedly grinding a level for 2000 each time for a 75k upgrade is no fun, much less a 75k upgrade and 2 50k upgrades
immediately invest all your money into additional startup money. keep donating to your startup funds until you can fully upgrade a sniper tower before round one. one fully upgraded tower will cover most of the map and will take you through almost all waves in the first matches. after your first, build a second sniper tower and fully upgrade it. placed right, two towers will get you through most levels by themselves. continue donating to your startup fund, and only use the towers you need in each match, pretty much adding only one sniper tower every three or four levels. the more money you have at the end of a match, the more money you get as a reward. since you can add to your startup fund an unlimited amount of times, this adds to your end money, and thus your reward money (as long as you don't spam towers) this adds up quickly, and after repeating a mid level a few times, you will be making 20k each level and can easily buy anything in the store very quickly
you definately need more gold per kill in the higher levels. I'm at level 53 with the level 10 pack making aout 4-5k gold a level, but my next needed upgrade is 27k gold. at this point it's starting to get boring farming gold, and the clip and kockback upgrades don't help anyomore, clip because you never get enough of an opening to fire a full clip (even with emp, you don't even use 2/3rds of the level 7 clip with continuous fire) and knockback because, well, it's knockback. perhaps you could swap out the knockback mod for a piercing mod so bullets hit more than one baddie, maybe even piercing shields at level 7 or so?
graphics are less than basic. upgrade system is buggy and never buys what you tell it to, spending a seemingly random amount of points when you try to buy something, ad sometimes never buying anything at all. game mechanics are a mystery. Readoud went from suddenly spreading rapidly for no reason to no one infected, also without reason. 1/5 is generous
