Lord it starts up right away with the bad guys attacking you, don't it? Meanwhile, instead of auto-advancing, my dude stands there while the bad guy is wailing away on my gate. Bring in the healer and...okay, unit control is insane. I will be gnawing on furniture by the end of the tutorial. No rating, as I suppose this game is just not my style.
Wow...graphics are horrendous for this type of game. Dress up games are all about the visual element. The gameplay itself is fine, but work on those graphics. And if you don't want critiques, you are on the wrong site.
I really like the concept of this game, with the periodic water benefits. I only had a couple of rather minor issues with it, and one is the acid pool-double speed problem someone else mentioned, and the other is it would be nice if the tower description had whether it was on the path or not included in the pop up before you buy it. I bought the mushroom on level 2 thinking it would be able to cover two paths and well...it doesn't! ;) Other than that, getting points and achievements doesn't do much. An upgrade system between waves would indeed be a great addition, i.e. lower initial cost/upgrade cost of towers, increase range, more starting out money, etc. Check out the other popular TD games on Kong to get an idea. Solid 4/5.
That's quite bad luck indeed. You can lower the probability for earthquakes by selecting an area where seismic activity is low. You can do this on the map before starting the game.
@Sistermonkey, the reason there is no credit given to the artists is because he doesn't have permission to use it. For example, the Night Elf is owned by Blizzard. It's from World of Warcraft.
Could be fun, but highly imbalanced. Also, the controls tend to stick a lot, making it impossible to use the spells quickly or scroll with the mouse efficiently. The placement of the special towers makes them pretty much useless, as the range for them makes them strategic deadweight. Tried to play it through, but entirely too frustrated.
dude read the description! D:<
