Just a few suggestions, because it seems like a really fun game! Might want to add scrolling text for those of us who can’t play with the sound on. Not being able to move and shoot at the same time makes this a lot more frustrating than it should be. You explain the controls pretty well, but nothing about the leveling up, the shop or recruiting. Your guys will also move onto a square that a zombie is on, unable to shoot or attack him, and die. If a zombie is on the square, he shouldn’t be able to be on it as well. The pathing also desperately needs to be fixed. It’s very tiresome to have them keep saying “No way!”, then you move them over one square and they have no problem going wherever they’re supposed to. I know it seems like a lot, and sounds really harsh, but this game has so much potential to be truly awesome!
Cute little game, but as has been pointed out, a bit unbalanced with the muskets. Also...might want to do something with the premise. A crown is a pretty simple thing to pick up and bring back. Maybe defend searchers while they look for the lost crown or something. 3/5
It's not that you're not allowed to practice, it's that you did minimal changes and expect everyone to love it. If you're going to be a developer, do the research and check out the most popular TD games, why they're popular and figure out your own way to make a great game without posting the same tutorial garbage that keeps showing up on Kong. Don't upload every test, wait until you have a polished product if you want people to take you seriously.
@Protonimus My strategy is to make sure I get a map that has at least one of everything I need within easy reach at the beginning of the game. Particularly lots of squares that can develop farms (suburbs and farms). Your biggest enemies at the beginning are space for survivors and food, so concentrate on that. As soon as you can get a lab and develop your food based research (preservation, research, etc.). Hope that helps some!
Could be a good game, interesting take on it. I like the graphics. There are a few things I'd like to see fixed. There are no range indicators on the turrets, nothing to tell us damage, reload time or fire rate until after we've bought the towers, the upgrade system for the towers is very obscure. A tutorial level would probably not be a bad thing. Despite all the above, I like it, and will be following it to see what you do with it!
Thank you for your sugestions, we will keep them in mind when we make the sequel, also if you have more sugestions fell free to pm me.
