I have to agree with d swabey on quite a few things he said. The removal of drag and click, no selecting individual units, the limited UI, the simplistic and somewhat cartoony graphics, no restart level option, slow response to commands, Altar of Healing heals everyone including enemies, can’t destroy buildings in order to create new ones in better locations...At least I know the reason for these things; the possible port to mobile. Unfortunately, when you gear a game towards one platform it generally suffers on others. The story (what there was of it) bits of text have such a bland, Powerpoint-ish presentation I couldn’t believe it. As a standalone, it’s not a bad game at all. It’s quite good. However, it’s gone from strategy to endless zerging. It doesn’t deliver the Epic that its predecessors brought. I’m sorry to be so harsh, as I am a big fan of the series, but this one very much failed to deliver.
Would whomever is holding a gun to ProtonsZero's head and forcing them to play this game please stop and desist. Also, stop making them eat badges. It isn't nice.
Very buggy, the popups don't work correctly, the tutorial is glitchy. If I can't even get through the tutorial from the bugs, I am not even going to bother suffering through the rest of the game. Won't rate now, I'll wait to see if it improves.
Really like it, it does require strategy and I like how the towers are more like mini-barracks than just imposing stone edifices. Couple of issues. First, the leveling seems to be insanely slow, and when they DO level how does one know? I can't seem to find any indicator saying someone has leveled other than the initial flash. When you have twenty towers on the screen and floods of enemies, those flashes are easy to miss. Second, why is it the archers just seem to get bored with what they're shooting at, wander around a bit, and then start shooting at an entirely different target? I've had to restart many maps because the archers are just not consistent. Highly frustrating. Right now a 3/5, but will def upgrade if the issues are addressed.
Ten minutes in between days? Really? REALLY!? Two minutes, no problem. Five minutes, no likey, but okay. TEN MINUTES?! Ridiculous at best. Hint: Want more players, meaning more cash? Pay attention to the top rated comments.
You really need to get more than 10 megs. ;) I very much enjoyed the art, but it was a bit too "click everywhere hoping to find something useful" for me. Some kind of indicator that there is an item to pick up in even a general area would be nice. Other than that, very enjoyable. I look forward to more!
Would be lovely if the farking controls worked the way they were supposed to, buying items were consistent, and you got the items you were supposed to, like the magnet. 1/5
So...you uploaded a Stencyl tutorial that others have successfully uploaded as a test? Um? Not rating, but needs a lot of work to make it unique and not like the dozens of other Stencyl tutorials that have been flooding Kong lately. Also, insulting the folks who are ultimately responsible for your rating on Kong is generally not a good idea.
Sadly, bug still NOT fixed, despite hope inducing update. I've deleted the save cash and Shockwave still crashes Chrome every time I even think about clicking on this game. I haz a sad.
I was thinking about a sequel of sorts, perhaps a puzzle mode, and definitely an intense mode. If you have any other suggestions let me know.
