Targeter chains together your towers for combos. the reason this is of any significance is because your towers have to be near eachother for it to work. with the targeter, you can be a bit more lax about it.
I understand how hard it is to make a fair game like this, but it'd be nice if you didn't make the impetuous decision of saying it's "great skill (and a little luck)". At least admit there's more than "a little luck" at play here.
some of these comments make my mind twist in to strange shapes. can people really not figure out how to shoot? also, there's a bar that shows up between your health bar and stamina bar which counts as your fort's status bar.
at first I thought this was really great and was excited about a sequel... then I got to the second level and didn't know what the whole complaint with platforms was. then the ground ended and I knew. bad call, Lutgames.
Ok, so it's a demake of Diablo 2 and it's a bit grindy... but... that's the style of the game. I personally really like it, but the direction of attacks being the cardinal directions is a little frustrating.
I hold no grudge about the pay-for-rank thing. It can be achieved without paying with some deliberation, so you're not being forced in to paying to continue the game or anything.
Hell's Heat is positively ridiculous. I finally got all the way through, but lo and behold, I died to the ridiculous fluctuations in its damage. About.. 14 turns of taking 0 damage, then I take over 100, then I take over 200, after which I take over 100 again, followed by me running out of potions and dying after a few more hits for 200.
