Something HORRIBLE about this game. The last level lags. Just when you really need to be at your best, it lags on you. You can't even change the options without quitting. Take my advice people. PLAY ON LOW QUALITY, even if it doesn't lag. It will, and you will be glad for the advice. (I don't know if it has quality control, but it should if it doesn't.)
People, THIS GAME IS NOT GOING TO GET BADGES. If the game does not have the programming to allow badges to be created for it, it is not possible for Jim Greer to make them. This game does not have that programming.
I was on fire, all my shots were hitting well, got a huge combo, kept my buildings safe for quite some time, and then survived for another few minutes with just my main. Diehard: 2091 missiles endured.
Wow. That sucks. Guess I have to try a lot harder.
I love this game: it's so much harder than the first Protector. In the first one, as soon as you beat 15 maps and got Ultimate Magic, the game became trivial. In this game, the start and finish are both nice and difficult (the middle was pretty easy).
Now all I have to do is beat the last level...
To those who say the attacks you make are random: they aren't. It depends on the range. The best range is the range where you strike the enemy with the point of the weapon, that deals the most damage.
It's nowhere near impossible. What you need to do is:
Get 3-4 level 6 gems.
Get 6-8 water trenches around that area
Save up 4921 or more mana.
Get the mana upgrades, and the one that makes gems cheaper. The way it works is, you only need to deal 5k damage to it, then it comes around again (it costs 4920 to banish)
One of your level 6 badges should be blue for optimum chances. A purple one is also good, though not absolutely necessary.
For the second epic boss, follow the same strategy, but replace 5000 mana with 8000 mana.
