OK, I will stop spamming this thread, but heres why im not happy : I based my strategy since the beggining around a lot of weapons that need precise aiming. Later in the game it becomes very hard to aim in good conditions, so it renders all my long-term strategy useless, and all my money spent is lost. If I had know I would have invested in weapons requiring no aiming! ;)
prosaicpoet1 I agree probably 130%, but the best games are the ones that do just that but without the human noticing ;) BTW if the developer reads this, its still a very good game, I complain only because Im a sore loser!!! :p
The computers strategy after level 15 is use EMTs, aistrikes, mountain manipulation, and swarm shot to make the terrain move so much that the game is unplayable. Then it fires 3 nukes and the game is over. My problem is that the player cannot use this strategy - it works only against a human opponent! And yes Im a whiner
to explain my other post : if the computer continually airstirkes, he is sure to at least draw - but for the player that means lose, because he cannot progress and is losing his time . For the player a draw is a lose, for the computer a draw is a win
this game is quite stupid for a simple reason : every bomb that touches the terrain renders aiming impossible. Some weapons are just useless for the player : air strikes render all aiming impossible. The computer doesnt care if he cannot aim anymore, he is totally unaffected by moving terrain. The more the computer renders the game unplayable, the more he is sure to win.
In my other post I mean "find and report the bugs". Too numerous to mention here, but why do my wall instantly gets killed in one third of my games? Tank stuck on 'sending', enemy archers sometimes spam 100s of arrows, and the list goes on and on..
Im sick and tired of developers releasing unfinished games and waiting for the community to find and report them. Play your own game guys, and correct those bugs!! 1/5
This game lags like a b****, judging by the comments i'mprobably the only one. Lags get better the more enemies I kill in a screen. Too bad but unplayable for me in that state.
I dunno why people complain, I got to level 10 or so without thinking about it too much. Never lost. Upgrade attack skill (in the LEVEL, not the weapon) and use 2 or so crossbows to reduce the entrenchment multiplier of the enemy. Oh, and you have to actually USE the abilities in-game, by clickin' on them!
on choosing upgrade abilities, should be able to see what do the abilities I cannot choose, because I want to evaluate the whole tree before choosing a path!!
Man the tutorial is awful, 10 pages of text made with some weird and hard to read font.. try to emphasise important stuff, or deliver that in several chunks (after the first three battles per example) instead of one big time.
Oh wait that was before I tried multiplayer.. All three of us couldnt move forward because of a glitch : one monster was not moving anymore and was not hittable any morre either. Fair enough the game says 'beta', must still be in testing phase..
