Boyoboyoboy 1:55:08 & last gold!!! What I did is get Rocket Launcher and Mortar, and RUNRUNRUN. Took a FEW(!) tries. The first group of men, mortar it (hope for the RL). At first miniboss had already RL and mortar (would suggest starting again if u dont have them). While killing it, just mortar and shoot, don't care about getting hurt : you'll get a healthpack later hopefully. Shoot the groups of soldiers in advance (off screen) so you don't have to wait too long for fumes to dissipate to check if they have healthpack. In the level, never stop running; cut all corners; know level by heart... While at the boss study so that you have him always on the screen, while being on the good side of his flamethrower. Never stop shooting and mortaring it. (Side note : some people say guns are better than RL, RL did it for me). Good luck!!!
The rules need to be changed, for example you could get to keep 1/3rd of your bugles towards the 2nd rounds. Otherwise this game makes me shout "NONSENSE!" continually in my head
I was first really pleased with the game but lets face it : the first/second part of the game makes absolutely no sense!! you can scor 50 buggles on the first part, but nothing is counted towards your own points, only the 2nd part counts!! How stupid is that?? Bad game design!
also a fundamental flaw of the UI in this game is that you cannot be precise when NOT firing at full power, meaning if you want to shoot really slow you have to have the mouse really close to the ball and you cannot choose a precise angle, not as precise as if the mouse were on the other side of the screen (try it)
relative to the whole game, level 1 sure IS easy, but for a first level I would put a 'more than easy' level, a 'cannot-miss' level, just for 1st time players. And a LOT of levels in this game are a lot EASIER still than level 1! look at level 2, 3, 4, 8.. weird...
did level 24 on 3rd try - just shoot the upper right corner corner of the boxes on the left. mouse must be outside the game on the left, manoeuver till the red line bounces not on the horizontal but slightly downwards (towards the boxes on the right)
quite often when clicking on the ball to start firing it, it won't let me. very annoying. have to click 10, 20 times till I get the arrow. reeely weird...
This game is the most stupid in the world : I lost on level 10, was still clicking and accidentaly clicked 'play game', which made me start the game again from beginning. No save!!!!!!!!!!
