completely stupid game - most expensive tower fully upgraded has no chance against a single enemy - yeah think about that for a while, how does it makes sense??!
[SPOILER] sometimes the boss will kill you if you are too slow or simply you have no time to step back after creating the ice block. While coming and setting the ice block, you must watch the boss carefully - if he wants to hit, immediately pause and switch to yellow and press S. Tricky but can be done. [/SPOILER]
If you get two bosses on level 10, quit the level and select it again. [SPOILER] To beat the boss, you need a good strategy. What I did was so : (ALL COLOR CHANGE MUST BE MADE BY LEFT-CLICK-PAUSE, not the selector at bottom of screen) stay in the middle yellow blade. If Tentacle comes : dont move. If boss comes, jump next to him as quick as possible, immediately change color to blue (I do it mid-jump using left mouse click) and drop an ice block if there is a blue target Then move back a few steps as to not get hit. When the boss hits your blue ice, switch to red and burn his bottom. If the boss shows no target, immediately change color to yellow and press S to be invicible, wait for his projectiles, then move back to middle yellow platform. Rince and repeat so that you burn his bottom three times. [/SPOILER]
level design is slightly weaker than splitter (in splitter on some levels, the planned solution was often quite 'smart', meaning the solution was unique, possible to find) here the levels are not as sophisticated, or when they are, it is possible to 'hack -slash-n-pray' that by chance the ball touches the circle somehow. In Splitter it was harder to rely on chance. Here for example on sophisticated levels (say 4 or 5 required splits) it is sometimes possible to get away with splitting once or twice, obviously it was not the way planned by the creator. On the other hand too simple levels may have looked too much like splitter who may have taken several good ideas already.
Gives 5/5 because I like the atmosphere. Although splitter is not acknowledged as an inspiration.
game speed (and also gameplay) changes a lot as soon as enemies get killed. easier to get killed because game controls changes (quicker game means change in gameplay)
