You can still use gear on downed soldiers-i.e. radio. Select the soldier you wish to use the gear, then use the red arrows in the order panel to cycle through the gear of the other rangers. The selected ranger will use the gear. Check out the MNB wiki for more information, or head to mudandblood.net/new

For those of you who have seen an APC, it is a BTR-60. It has a very effective flak cannon, and can be destroyed by an airstrike, M72 LAW, HE Arty, or C4. There is a video of me destroying it on the camporama youtube channel.
