Gah!!!!! Every time I get close to the stinkin' badges, I get the "can't shoot" bug, the "everything in the upper left corner" bug, the "can't repair/sell" bug, or the "all bullets hit something invisible right in front of the gun" bug! So frustrating!!!!
Use a pen and paper, start from the left, make your way right. I found some of the later levels easier, actually, but I had to type, like, six different names for the same things sometimes. Oh, and it takes a good long while...
