I keep ostriches instead of chickens, because they always grant an egg when fed (and don't become ill as quickly). Making gingerbread from ostich eggs is still a net profit in energy and food, especially if your friends help you harvest your wheat.
Is reputation worth the cost? It doesn't make me advance quicker, does it?
I haven't gotten past the first swamp yet, and the decorations are taking up a needed space. Should I keep investing in them or can it wait until later?

this is buggy. movie cinema won't let me return to the main game, and now i can't place a bet at the dice table (worked an hour ago). deleting (or freeing?) all my fish and whales when refreshing is purely annoying.
