I looked at a walkthrough for stage 6 and after seeing and doing its really not that hard. I think all the guy's movements are timed some way and its all part of the process of the puzzle. In fact as a hint, his defeat isn't dependent totally on his HP. At first it is, but then you need to figure out what do when he is in recovery mode. ;).
