just in case you didnt know..for some items that seem out of reach because of stat requirements..you can wear other items that give you enough + stat and than wear the item. Even if your stats dont reach it you can still wear it and it works fine.

If any one has any troubles, I think its easiest with the desert mage to clear it. Well i only tried twice and i used desert mage for both. The only part that you might get stuck is the part where the mage deals 600 dmg with his combine and thats going to be much higher than him. SO you just use the other skill that increases each bolts dmg. Since the combined attacks either high or low half of your bolts will hit him with the added bolts and you can one shot him.
