game's a ton of fun; I just wish the achievements would get checked off. (I've got the in-game badge for killing 2K enemies, but not the achievement for killing 200...)
Huh. All my progress is lost & it claims I've never played (0/450 achievements; wants me to start tutorial level 1; I still have my badges, & they show how many achievements I had.) Never cleared my game cache, so this is making me cranky. I'll don't really want to start over - especially if my new game progress might also disappear. *grr*
WTF?!?! Where is my progress & all my money? (ok, I'll just play for fun, I guess) Wait, WAIT, what?! I'm locked out of the hard tracks too? Why BT5, why? Why get me addicted & then take away my monkey crack!!!
Love the game. Only complaint is the data from using the radar pulse disappears as soon as I drop off a load of minerals. I'm still on the same planet, so I don't understand the logic behind the report being wiped from my ship's memory.
first couple times I played it, the game was great. Now it speeds up/ slows down & freezes randomly. Why, Jelly Escape, why are you suddenly unplayable? :(
There is a banner at the top of my game window that reads:
"We have detected that you are trying to hack the game. Any future attempts to hack will result in a permanent ban and the loss of your base."
Since my knowledge of hacking begins & ends with my ability to spell the word, should I assume a real hacker is meddling through my profile or is Backyard Monsters just pooched?
Fun game. I went to go see Xelu's page after (Art N' Design link) when I was finished to see what else they've got, but got a bunch of malware warnings/ cleansings so I guess I'll try again a different day... :(
So either the game has random built-in artificial gravity (or wind?) or once there are too many aliens on the screen it stops refreshing what arrow I'm actually using & decides I must be constantly taping in one direction. Not my favorite feature. But I did like the various alien behaviours.
Kongregate recommended Monsters' Den to me because I (quote) "rated Kongai highly". Only problem: I gave Kongai 2/5. Since when is 40% a high rating? Oh well, at least it brought me here.
Infuriating bug where things I've already acheived have disappeared & it won't let me unlock them a second time. (I have 195 out of 196, but when I tally them up it only comes to 181... where did the other 15 go?) I know I had wizard & demigod already, but they no longer appear in my list, and when I try to "re"create them nothing happens. Very annoying. I'm not even sure what the others are that are missing, but I'm dropping my rating down to 1/5 because of this.
