Try adding limits to the screen and correct the vertical position for the celery. And adding highscores will be a good addition. Also you might want to work on something else than the graphics..
I really can't stress enough how important is to tackle.. not oly it makes the game easier, but also gives you bonus score! You can get about 10k more points!! FAST tutorial is a must for newcomers.
I think the idea is great, and you're giving it a lot of presence. But, as pointed out by other fellow members, you should play it a work out the bugs/glitches.
I think it has great potential though, I would't be surprised seeing the full clean version of it being rated 4 and so.
It's very simple. Also you might want to add scores since I think it encourages people to beat their own or other people's scores.
And apart from changing the graphics you might want to do some more tweaking.
Keep working though, like it or not that's a game ;)

It's nice to see an instructive game from time to time rather than just killing baddies for no other purpose than obtaining a high number. Very nice and provocative implementation, so 5/5!
You could work a little bit on the graphics and add more questions to be asked randomly. And if you keep track of these which the user guessed wrong you could ask them again.

@yasth: Yes, the "spit" ends somewhere before the staring line for the enemies, and that is to prevent "spitting abuse". It's the same reason as for the player can't go all the way right. If you think it should be otherwise just gime me a whisper! ;)
The ex-nuke powerup now calls forth 3 team players which can take down 1, 2 and 1 enemies respectively, or damage a boss. And the hymn weakens the enemies in general too! :)
