I favorited this game back on Build 13. It has been so exciting, and IMPRESSIVE seeing Momoguru respond to our input and constantly improve the game. Kudos! Best thing I have seen hit Kong in a long time.
Absolutely love the game. One thing above all I feel would improve it would be integration the available jobs with the galaxy map. It gets very unwieldy trying to keep track of what stations want what goods or have what available when you can only check this when docked.
Ideally one could check the available jobs anytime, and each station or system would give tooltips with key information: "Fonsed Station: Needs - 172 consumer goods, Price Index - 1.1" for example. A step further and you could see, oh, this system has a station that needs 231 Hydrogen - now I go to my logs and click on "Hydrogen" and it tells me what Stations I have visited that offered that for trade.
Ability to set "active" jobs and track whether you have the cargo, and where you need to go to complete it, would also really help. Absolutely love the game, and it's very exciting to see it being actively developed as we play!
Love the game and can't stop playing it, but would like to see three things improved:
1) controls, on foot and in the car. Both feel clumsy and slow (larger screen/more zoom out when driving would also help this).
2) improvement in sound. The car engine noise, in particular, sounds horrible, it literally hurts my ears. The retro 8-bit style works well overall, but the sounds miss the mark of GOOD retro sound.
3) more depth of content overall - variety of food, weapons, vehicles, and locations for the sake of flavor. Customizability of the character or ability to improve attributes would be nice too, maybe an equipment slot for worn items (backpack, body armor, etc.), for example. Upgrades to apply to weapons or vehicles are another possibility.
Minor note - medkit seems pointless and cumbersome compared to food since you can get more healing from cakes that take up less space, as needed instead of all at once.
