That moment when there is less than a minute left to play and you are behind. you need long plays in order to win, but the computer only selects short passes because not being able to select your own plays is dumb.
this latest update... wow. what a great way to get people to stop playing your game. i really wish there was just a simple playbook where you can just pick your play. it's a management game where they take away your ability to manage now.
so im having fun with this, but cant figure out why the world itself is flashing and killing my ship around level 21. i cant beat it if the literal level is killing me at what seems like random intervals.
Glad you liked it :). I don't know what could be happening at level 21 ... I didn't quite understand how the world is flashing. This is the first report I get about it, could you send me a link with the screen image? Thanks.
I feel guilty saying that i like this one more than 3.
I put a bunch of hours on the kong version of 3. i bought 3 on steam. It adds some good depth. But for pick up and play this is still the king.
Seeing that this was here made me so happy. I have not stopped playing this game since it came out!
One mild gripe- the loss of just clicking on the stairs to change floors to a button combo that changes based on going up and down is kind of a pain. even if it was just one button it would be ok, but a shift + button especially if it can move you into a kill zone while you try to escape a problem if you hit the wrong combo is problematic. 9/10 with the only deduct for that one little gripe. The improvements from the last title are truly seen. Phenomenal job!
My kingdom for a "max" button on the time crystals. when you have to keep opening the window every time you want to buy 1 min of time warp. gets a little annoying.
what kills me is that i beat the rivals as instructed with the various qualifiers and still no star. im at the point where the game is pointless since it doesn't do whats promised.
There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with your save. Just make sure you are using the correct stance/style and that skills are the correct level. For example before fighting Greg to get his 3rd star you should be in Blitz stance and have critical at least to level 10 before you start the duel.
been playing for about a month now. beaten with everyone but necromancer. my poor necromancer was killed 1 step from the end by a hidden fire pillar as i entered its view. crap. here goes another try! (ps: please make that ice mage happen! i want more characters!!! )
this is just a great game.
hi. im a ranger. check out my (non throwing) spear.
i kind of wish he would have gotten his own class of weapon- like a bow/ crossbow thing. adds damage/ may add cooldown to darts.
well 2 weeks of trying and i finally beat it. it was nice to see the dev communicate with me on my food shortage issue.
one other suggestion: maybe make the shrooms give you 1 or 2 food points? i mean they are food. the round i just beat there was very limited food and limited health fountains/ shroom pickups. so it was an interesting combo of always low on health, running away and not clearing every level- just finding the down stairs. when i hit the bottom floor i had like no health but i had 9 teleport scrolls. it felt cheap as i zipped around the bottom floor until i stumbled on the last item to get and won the game.
+1 for the incredibly epic ending though. lol
I've added a guaranteed food drop on level 4 for those times when the RNG is not playing fair. This should give you enough of a boost to make it to the first merchant. The final solution is simply to force the merchants to spawn on set levels (4, 8, 12) or something. Let me know how it goes with the food drop on level 4. Thanks for your feedback.
this has the bones of a great game. no sound, no easy way to manage all the items, clunky interface, and a host of other problems keep me from being able to really sink my teeth into it. it needs work, but the creator could really be on to something here. i really like the flow of it.
well i played it through. my first thought is 'my kingdom for keyboard controls!'. this all mouse for aiming and movement thing is for the birds. the auto aim does not prioritize enemies the way i would to keep from getting hit. if there was keyboard for movement and aim with the mouse that would be great. i find when the screen fills with enemies that the movement gets a little inaccurate which is frustrating. the grind- by the time i beat the final boss (on the first try with him- super easy to beat) i had everything from the shop, my normal gun all the way up and the rest of the weapons exactly halfway upgraded. I might play a little more to see what full upgrades feel like, but im not sure. i like the theme and the style. sound is good. but it's hard to play accurately. 2.5/5. the controls can be fixed it would go a long way. also +1 for a keyboard pause.
Well, i've put in a significant amount of time on this. its a neat concept.. but..
there is the grindy thing everyone talks about- oh boy is that there. i know i wont 100% this thing. Ive got 17 cars and 79 missions done. its taken quite a few hours to get this far. once i clear out the rewards i still wont have nearly enough gems to buy the last 2 gem based car purchases.
My other big gripe is whatever the mission is, the level seems to know to avoid giving you any of what you need. need to collect 18 gems? great now they are like 1 per 1000 meters. need to perform 8 double accidents? lol good luck because you will rarely see an intersection and when you do you wont see 2 hittable cars on there at once even if you have the cops out. need to use an extra life heart? fantastic- here is a train with 30 boxcars in a row spawning right in front of you.
it plays well, it looks and sounds good. it's just that the game hates it's players.
