Came back after not playing for (6 months? a year?) - was still in R43 and got a new trophy while away. I hate the new interface - the fonts are hard to read. It looks like someone stuck new graphics on a game that already worked well. Goodbye again, Realm Grinder.
So after grinding my way up to Beverly over a couple of days, I noticed the reset points were pretty low - it was much quicker/efficient tojust do Cassie, most of Mio, and the first few dates of the others to get 2 reset points in a few minutes (skipping all the expensive dates).
"Dear programmer: please stop developing tools to improve the game experience. Everyone knows - ours is the only opinion that should be shoved down everyone's throats. You would almost think people have the right to express their own opinion or something - silly coders, this is the Internet! [DG] "
The game is awesome, apart from the bug-filled and apparently untested content releases. The developers are pretty thick headed, thin skinned, heavy handed when it comes to criticism of their games, for which reason I rate this 1 star.
Bugged as all get out. "Mount armored steed". (Mounts steed) "Mount armored steed" (dismounts and remounts) "Mount armored steed" (checks that it is indeed the armored steed) "Mount armored steed" (In a fit of rage rides the damn thing off the edge.....)
Ugh. Unity. Not installing it just to play one or two games. Stick with Flash please, or better yet switch over to HTML5. I'd say WebGL, but for the near future that is Chrome only.
SPOILER for those stuck on the music - find the 4 pieces of tape, then find the wall with one "stuck" piece. match the fruit first, then place the remaining tape to make a long strip of 4 pieces. The notes are BB DDBB G#ABD BAG#A. If you mess up, you can use the "less than" symbol on the screen to erase the last note.
If you completed this, you either just clicked a lot, or you are mentally ill. Some of the puzzles are straight forward (bugs, fruit, music tape). I still don't understand what finally made the glass music work right, (matched the picture, and did what I thought was "down" according to the arrow... but finally just started randomly leveling the glass). And the firefly thing at the end - maybe I was clicking with the wrong firefly at first, but I swear i tried all over the screen. Again, random clicking finally got the first firefly to take. Personally I would think that either the match or knife would be sufficient to escape a cardboard box, but whatever. HURRAY for random clicking!
I take it back; at least when it crashed on me I was able to restart the game and continue, and finish. So barring the "fatal" bugs, this game is "okay". Parts I liked; others I hated; Got stuck on the pill (knew there was one from the drawing, couldn't find it), and stuck on the flower. Aside from the walkthru (didn't use it), I didn't see any hints as to how I would get either of those items; had to read others comments.
