Game is buggy as hell, and has spelling/grammar errors, not to mention sever memory leak issues. Beleive it or not, the standard "FIX" is "REFRESH YOUR BROWSER". LOL - get a clue about programming....
not really much strategy here:
start with row 2: build 5 bullets. next row 3: 4 lasers. next row 4 (near earth): build 3 bombs. Next top row, build Freeze. Now upgrade, roughly same order, until row 2 is all level 5. You should have enough money to sell bottom 3 bombs and build 1 Ultra. upgrade to 5. Now wait and buy 2 more ultra. Upgrade. Victory.
LOL - after you get the game down pat, you can beat all badges in 2 hours. IF the final badge works... I had to restart a new game. Maybe the badge doesnt award after you "WIN" (beat all towns?) oh well, I am done with this dead horse now.
"Press on" he says, so I did - killed all town bullies, both duel and with army. Still no freaking badge. I hate non working badges, so marked from 2 down to 1 star.
I marked this down to 2 stars because it didnt show progress for "There can be only one" badge. Not.. One... Checkmark... I also found the game hard before I figured out how to ugrade skills; after that it was dirt simple. Took over all towns, and won game. Tried battling 8 town champs, but couldn't get checkmark, even after winning with Army and Duel mode.
Kind of fun to play, BUT please do something about the "GO" bug: if you press GO after a battle quickly, you can sometimes skip the next battle.. not a big deal right? But if you do this just before entering a town, you never reach town, instead you bounce back and forth endlessly, just doing battle after battle. (Which doesnt do anything, since you dont get to keep the reputation, or items found - the only way out is to refresh the page and replay your trip.
skip the ones you cant get, or just keep pounding until you get it (30 shots later). Then play again when you finish, and you have Huge bomb that can 1-shot everything
I couldn't get the challenge award, even with 32,687 feet - then I rated the game a 2/5 - presto, instant award. This is an okay game, but it's been done 1,000 times over, and all I basically do is click once to fire, then hold down the up+right arrows, and hope to get lucky. Sure, you can manuever a little bit, but until you slow down it just isn't worth trying. Repetative + copy of other game + annoying loop music + buggy badges = 2/5.
Sadly, it isnt a bug - the stupid guy simple cant run past anything - u need to "lift" him over EVERYTHING. A stupid stupid game that should be called "draw a line across the middle of the screen". Also, I highly doubt that the OP was the game's author, since he is posting a bunch of games by different companys, with totally different styles.
By the way, for those trying to get the altar/teddy bear/fairy events: get a character with stats for what you need to complete the event. (And zero stress) Then use the Quit Game option. Refresh your browser and Continue Apprentice - then go to the Spooky Forest and try all 7 days - if you don't get the event, refresh browser and Continue apprentice. This way you can be sure to maximize your chance at getting a successful achievement. (You must get the achievements before the game ends, so Continue Play doesnt work for them)
Okay, this is ridiculous: Week 208 (1 week to go), just turned 18. I've been playing this day over and over, and finally got The Gent. "Shame you're far too young to eat." So apparently age has nothing to do with this event. (Since as soon as you go home, the game ends)
I've gotten low and high tiers with both sucky and great games. (Games where I did no combat, and games where I did like 99% combat - and the scores varied widely). Fierce Dragon Knight with a bunch of horse stall mucking... or games where I was trying to pee on the altar, and got tier 2. (Didn't bother training combat much at all that time, but did take Poetry)
