A few basic instructions about what will happen when certain buttons are clicked would be nice. I was a bit annoyed (quite a bit) when I got the promote option and did not realize it would wipe out the ascension progress that I had made. While I may appreciate the bonus that the promotion perk will give me I probably wasn't willing to give up the ascension multiplier, yet.
Really nice game and I look forward to improvements. Here's a couple ideas;
1) An auto save or some notice that you have to save manually. I lost all progress not realizing that the first time.
2) A little more direction as to what to do. I spent a ton of time just clicking around screens trying to figure the game out the first time.
Still really enjoying this game despite the grind. Some (hopefully) constructive feedback;
1. The energy shield really doesn't seem to do much at this point. I've got it nearly maxed and it doesn't appear to add much benefit over other utility slot items. Seems like it should give an overall damage reduction or all damage goes there before it wears out.
2. I get (way) better performance from H3 Wasp than H5 Hornet, even with 75k durability and 95k thermo on the Hornet. I can typically travel farther into the core and collect more resources there with that configuration. Plus, its FASTER, MUCH FASTER which means the grind at this point of the game if more tolerable. Since the upgrade cost for the Hornet it so prohibitive there is no benefit or reward for using it. In other words, increased durability doesn't give equitable benefit and thermo def is almost useless, as well. I'm way better off to use H3 and the utility slot thermo defense for vastly less resource cost.
Has anyone gotten the '500 m no barriers' achievement? It seems like I've done this several times but the achievement never activates. Also, its hard to tell in the first few meters since the radar isn't very active and the small barriers are easy to overlook.
I'm enjoying this game. Seems a little less laggy today - not sure if that's on my end or if the game speed is faster. There's a bit too much grind involved in the end game. With the need to repeatedly dig down to the bottom level to get upgrade materials it gets overly boring and repetitive. Maybe I missed something but I can't envision myself sticking with it for that reason. Really like it other than that, though.
Lost all progress. Was nearly maxed out on all upgrades and was above level 100. Loaded it up this morning and it was like I had never played the game before. OUCH!!!

Wow, obviously you've been doing a lot of work on the game, lately. I am enjoying this game a lot.
I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the changes today. It's too early for me to tell if I like it or not. Visually it seems a bit cluttered and difficult to follow, but maybe it's just new.
(as with most of the bloons games) This plays very slowly and laggy on pretty much every computer I've tried it on. I crank the display to lowest and boost my local storage to max but it really still is frustrating to play on some levels.
I would have rated it 5 because it's really awesome. However, it REALLY needs a progress save. I had to stop at a couple of different places and then start all over. I really, really like it, though!!!
Hi there!

If not, than you can send us an Email at at social@ashtaria.com with the problem and your ID!
Thanks!
It seems that if you make a wrong upgrade you can get stuck without being able to progress as replaying missions doesn't give more money and you can't undo upgrade selections.
Granted, I haven't played this game in a while but when I logged on today all my progress was gone and I started out at level 1 again.
OUCH!!!!
Perhaps a save or backup feature would be helpful.
Woah, having slower versions of the shooting range and skool would be nice for those of us with slower reaction times. Perhaps a geriatric hat unlockable that would slow things down when worn would do the trick.
Even after you get the key, clicking on the mouse/penguin with the key gives the message that he could give you the key if you were a mouse. A small matter but a little inconsistent. Unless, he has another secret key that is.
1. The economics are way off in my opinion. The number of uses for weapons, tools, keys is not enough for the time and resources that go into them. This includes the premium pay ones. I figure to buy all the premium ones you would have to spend about $70. WAY too much for this level of game. 2. Others have mentioned the limited amount of play available until you have to recharge. I agree with that. Especially as you get to higher levels this means that you may not be able to make any appreciable progress before having to rest and come back later. 3. The spawn rates from the gates is way too high. You can lose all your energy while trying to destroy one and if you don't make it (say, because your limited number of holy waters ran out) an overwhelming number of baddies can spawn making it very difficult to come back an finish the dungeon. These issues make the game increasingly frustrating as you progress in levels.
