I love these games. They are some of my favourite ever on kongregate. (And I've played way too many kongregate games :D) I bought A Tale of Caos on Steam after. I liked that game too but I preferred Mr. Gilbert's character and game.
Is there going to be any more games in the Caos series?
We're really grateful for your wonderful feedback; also, thank you for trying ATOC. There will be other games in the Caos series, indeed, we hope we'll have good news soon. ;) Have a wonderful life and keep having fun!
Great game. it was an interesting story. It was cool to see same-sex couples at the heart of it.
Did only 8 Silvars survive the destruction on their world?
I always check for new VasantJ games when I go on Kongregate. (but I usually wait for the badge to complete it)
The humour throughout the medieval series, the quirks of the characters and the increasing depth of the story are so enjoyable and always leave me excited for the next one.
I like that each game isn't too long. It makes it easier to give each chunk the attention it deserves.
You're a fantastic storyteller VasantJ. And I think this episode has the most heart of any of the series so far.
5 stars again.
I give it 3 stars. There's actually a good platformer there, a challenging difficulty curve, new abilities to get the hang of over time etc. Unfortunately, all the stalling drags it down.
Not being able to retry the level without going through the main menu and having the level select, character select, level loading buffer each time.
Level nine is a particular problem. Every time you enter, you have to go through unskippable cutscenes plus the loading the main menu, loading the level again when you die. There's no continues which is fine for the challenge. But it means all the stalling again and again. There's a tough section to climb racing against 1-hit KO spikes in between the early boss encounter and big fight.
@Merelen I had the same problem. I restarted the game and went straight to the station without straying from the path the second time and that seemed to fix it. I was able to go to other areas then.
I came back to this game recently after my old save got deleted years ago. One of the best games I've seen on kongregate. Everything about the game is excellent. Careful planning of moves and abilities is needed to get through levels.
Stormalligator made several really good games and in a variety of styles. Tinysasters 2 is really particularly fun. But Mission in Space is their masterpiece. I'd love to play a sequel if they ever make one.
Finally got the impossible match tonight. :) Challenge 6 took a lot of tries and reconfigurations. But it was an 8 turn cap so each individual try didn't take too long.
If any kind soul wants to help me through BI3, I'd really appreciate it. It'd take me from 122 to past the level 150 mark. And I could grind silver a lot faster.
If there are any other low level players playing this game, would ye like to team up for quests and dungeons. I've a level 70 shaman now. I get sick of grinding xp solo.
Thanks for that Demonant. Does the game get less grindy after a while. I'm at level 22 but I've had to grind a good bit to get there. I did a few quests in each area but eventually got to ones that killed me easily. I play as the snow bandit. Maybe I'm doing it wrong or I picked the wrong class.
It's not just a bad game. It's a broken one. You can't keep any money that you earn in levels to buy upgrades. Kongregate shouldn't make broken games the badge of the day.#
