The first four weapons you can buy all do the same amount of damage as the pistol, no matter how upgraded. Only difference is you have to get money for them.
I've already played Staggy, I've noticed the only differences are that staggy had cooler weapons and cutting things in different ways cause them to die in different ways. No matter where I shoot in this, the death is always the same.
