Kinda wish we didn't have to wait for a wave to get to a certain point to start the next one. Got a horde of plasma cannons on one of the infinite levels and I'd love to absolutely unleash the horde, but I'm stuck waiting on level 28 while 100,000 feeder worms kill themselves on my plasma.
Secret star in level 32 was the most frustratingly arbitrary thing ever to achieve, but apart from that all the puzzles seemed pretty logical. Enjoyable game.
Good concept let down by the fact that it is at its core an absurdly frustrating and repetitive war of attrition. Unable to motivate myself to even grind my way to the badge of the day.
Really fun game, one thing I will say, the AI could use a little tweaking; got a little bit easy to lead them once you realised they almost mindlessly go for the damaging blocks completely disregarding potential 4 or 5 in a rows or the fact that you have a 400% counter and 100% armour.
Although this did make it very satisfying setting those up.
As others have said, really tedious, and it makes exactly zero sense that a bird's energy level doesn't correspond to its tiredness in subsequent races.
This is like in an adventure game where you can't figure out exactly how to get past a puzzle so you just use everything in your inventory with everything else, and then when something works you think 'man, there was no possible way of thinking that through logically.' It's bad game design on the odd occasion that this happens in an adventure game, except here, that bad design is the entire game, and your inventory is a couple of thousand items.
I love these kinds of games; not because they're any good (they're not) but because of the hordes of armchair philosophers who will then gush about how beautiful/true/poetic/amazing they are. (They're not.)
Oh OK so I guess I was supposed to get some kind of special ability to deal with these absorbent jerks, but there's no way to change that so now I've got to fight through 22 levels all over again and figure out which one of the other abilities would've worked against them. But instead of doing that I think I'll just never play this game again.
Huh. Found a green thing which I felt sure would be some kind of wings which would let me use the arrows, but instead gave me an extra slice of health. So now I seem to have run out of places I can go. Is there something obvious I'm overlooking, or did I somehow break the game? (There's also a switch with hieroglyphics which claims I opened a door to the West, but I can't seem to find any places back where I came from that I can get to that I couldn't before.)
