This is a much slower and clunkier version of the classic Slider game. Instead of wasting your time with this inferior version, I recommend you hop over to Orbox C instead.
So there's this thing in games called a "difficulty curve", where you basically make the game harder with each new level so that the player faces more and more challenge as their skills increase. And the reason games tend to have this "difficulty curve" is because, when difficulty doesn't increase, the game becomes boring very quickly. Like your game. It's boring. Supremely boring. Like, "I can't believe you expect people to play 21 levels of this drivel" boring.
Level 23 is ridiculous. There are 6 protons and 7 electrons. The rules say that you have to connect ALL electrons in a continuous chain. But you can complete Level 23 by connecting all PROTONS, and leaving one electron unconnected. This is not a clever puzzle; it's just blatantly ignoring the rules you established.
@AlexNeb: It's very obscure, but to completely reset your progress, you need to press the '+' key until you reach the end-of-game screen (after Final Dance). Then, press the spacebar to bring up a menu, and select 'restart'.
Having trouble with the final level? Well, I won't give the solution away, but I will give you a visual aid. It helps to see the level like this: http://imgur.com/a/hGyZm
The concept intrigues me, but the difficulty needs to be toned down a substantial amount. The ability to take extra hits, or mid-level checkpoints, would be really appreciated. Also, please list the requirements needed to pass the level before the level starts; no-one wants to get all the way through, only to be told at the last second that you can't continue because you didn't collect enough things.
Hello there! Thank you for your feedback!
The difficulty (on the mechanics) is really an issue. I had some friends to test it and some find it too hard, some find it too easy... I'll wait for more feedbacks to see what more people think before changing something. The checkpoints is a very good ideia, I'll work on it as soon as possible!
About the memories and letters that you collect, they do not block the next level. They are only used to unlock pages of Anne's writings. Don't worry if you did not collect enough on one level, they will continue there and will add to the memories/letters you collect on the next level. This way, you might be able to unlock 2 pages at once!
I understand that there is a lack of information shown, I'll try to put it clearer on next update!
All the best! (and sorry about my rusty english!)
I am really not a fan of the blackout levels towards the end. Everything beforehand was about puzzling out the proper order and timing. The blackout levels just annoy you by forcing you to memorize the whole level layout in one second (or flip back and forth between levels, or take a screenshot). If you decide to continue developing levels, I say you should definitely scrap that mechanic.
Hi, the idea of "blackout levels" was that you should power lamps to see some fragments of "wire" and then turn it off to be able to proceed. Anyway thank you for the comment, I'll replace those levels later, I guess
Unfortunately, mazer, that's simply not true. Here's a gif showing both possible solutions (spoilers for Level 76, obviously): http://imgur.com/a/USQeA
Thank you! I was so scared people would hate this style! :)
