So, somehow Robot lost all his powers, and rather than bother to recollect them all, he entrusts them all to his pet, which can be easily unreachable without an instant-return ability and is overall far less effective. But on the plus side, the game is longer... wait, that's only good if the game itself is fun to play. Never mind.
So yeah, I thought this was a pretty big step down from the first game. It's a shame, because I liked the first.
It's a unique concept, but the overall layout seems to be set up just to make the trivial minigames more confusing than they normally would be. I didn't like it, and since 2 stars is the "didn't like it" rating, that's what I'll give.
I was about to say that it was practically criminal to plaster my avatar next to all those generic, vapid comments. Then I realized that I was totally guilty for slamming little girls' games.
I liked the gameplay, even if the concept wasn't very original. The music loops too often, and can get annoying to listen to pretty quickly. This would be a 3/5, but I have to take a point off because of Level 6 malfunctioning and rendering the game unwinnable.
DURRR WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR OPTIONAL CONTENT HURRR Okay seriously, you guys, enough of this shit. Kongregate has to pay to keep the website running, so they need some sort of revenue to do it. Would you rather just get spammed with ads instead?
The two-person gimmick was woefully underused, and I think you know it, because seemingly at the last minute you decided to make two objects usable by only one character to force the mechanic back into relevance. It doesn't take.
Can you please not use cannons in the future? These kinds of puzzle games can do without needing to repeat several times just to find the perfect trajectory and power.
I noticed at least two instances where certain flags were delayed in their activation. First, when I made the arrows and tried to use the crossbow on the bird, it said I had no arrows. After leaving and coming back, I tried the crossbow again, and it worked (by the way, using the arrows on an object should have the same effect as using the crossbow on an object).
Less problematic, at one point, Carrow moves to the dig, but you can return to the camp and find him sitting there. What's strange is that, while he's at the dig, coming back to the camp a little later, Carrow will be gone.
