Yeah, when the star shows up in place of one of the notes you need to hit, the note disappears, and it becomes impossible to win. Glitches that result in instant loss are 100% failure rate with me.
Haha. I love this. "A large monstrosity appears before you wearing a necklace of skulls and wielding a club made of bone." And it turns out to be just a really long paddle.
This could have been such a great game, but it's completely ruined by the terrible controls and character handling. Awkward jumps, 3 keys to switch between characters, R to use background items, S for stealth instead of spacebar like the other powers, among other issues turns this game from an enjoyable platformer to a pretty yet annoyingly frustrating game. 2/5.
It's annoying how if the ball has to fall even a single inch, it shatters. You could have tried to apply something remotely resembling a physics engine.
I find myself trapped in a love/hate relationship with this game. I really like the basic concept, but then all the tiny glitches come and rear their ugly head, I'm put off by them, rage quit, then come back again. If the little things were fixed, like quanta costs being factored in after following through with a card effect, maybe the game wouldn't be causing me such violent mood swings.
I just... I just killed my Draconian Dragon by using a rage potion on it. I realize that was a retarded thing to do, but I got locked into the state of mind where I was cruising through battles. Anyway, the Rage Potion is programmed not to work on creatures with less than 5 HP, but you can use it to kill a creature with 5 HP.
I've seen so many glitches in this game it's not even funny. It wouldn't be a problem, except it appears that the developer is showing no signs of getting around to fixing these problems. And that's unacceptable. 1/5.
