titan3, just go to the northwest corner of the woods, and chop the tree that has the sleeping bird in it. To be fair to Willythenilly, though, that isn't too tough to figure out.
Pro-tip: If you are a skilled tapper and dodger, avoid leveling up your attack before you've leveled everything else. By doing this, you can rack up enormous combos on single enemies, which will provide you with ever-increasing EXP bonuses. Do this, and maxing out your levels will be a piece of cake.
Wow. This is like, the exact opposite of Frantic. Instead of avoiding stuff, you crash head-long into it. Instead of strategy, you just use simple-minded brute force. And instead of being a good game, it's utter garbage.
The ball goes lower than you can move the paddle, and once it happens, the ball will always move in a trajectory that's impossible to intercept. Also, the computer follows the ball perfectly, so it's impossible to score. Please make sure your game is actually playable before submitting it next time.
Explain to me how this isn't my regular target hall. It feels like every other shooter out there. And your only attraction to this game can just be print-screened and saved.
I finished it in 20:30, with 115 points. I decided NOT to go back for the purple bonus chambers since I wanted to end the game already. I should let you know that making a game super-challenging doesn't make it fun. While the maze itself is pretty well constructed and it's not too hard to navigate, there's much area for improvement. I would like the enemies to be a little slower, especially in the section between the red door and the exit. You know the one. Also, it would help if the crystals didn't unlock the doors upon collection, but let you unlock doors by physically running into them. Using the key to physically unlock doors would be better simply because it gives the player the sensation of actually unlocking a brand new area to explore. One last suggestion: if you could paint floors to help remind you where you've been, that would be nice.
I'm giving this 1 star, because the author really needs to have his ego deflated. This game is nothing more than a turd that's been polished and shined to look pretty. But it still plays like a turd. I owe this to the fact that the author has absolutely no grasp on the basics of good game design. At least the people that make stick flashes have the excuse of not being experienced with flash.
A LOT of random clicking required. It doesn't help that you seem to be controlling every single character and object, without being given any clear goal to work toward.
I flagged this game since it's not actually a game. You just made one interactive element, there's no winning or losing conditions, and you're basically saying that since you can't be assed to do more, that we should provide our own entertainment. That's just lazy.
You should consider adding freebies of some sort to keep the game going longer. As it is, it's likely you'll lose before finishing level 1. If you find ways to keep the game until the player gets a taste for victory, the player will be encouraged to keep playing.
