I beat the Bandit Leader at level 6, but only because he got snagged on a rock. :) But yes, unless you get lucky like that, it takes an ungodly amount of grinding just to get to each successive level.
Alsoa, you're an idiot. Yes, it's a free gaming site, but they've had the Kreds system for a long time now, and it's pretty obvious that the main function of such online currency is for unlockable content. Plus, given that running a site isn't free and a lot of people are starting to use ad blockers on their browsers, they need a reliable source of revenue. Now stop being a whiny bitch and deal with it.
v How exactly is it selling out to add a fee to special features? Not only is it entirely possible to do well without buying them, it gives Kongregate some much needed revenue to keep the site running. It's not exactly free to run a website, you know.
The Scorching Desert description on the adventure map doesn't have its own color. The text just takes on whatever color the last location you moused over had.
I thought this game could be managable on Medium, but DAMN is it hard. You could at least make a tutorial to give me some hands on experience first. Reading instructions just doesn't cut it. Oh, and you have to be crazy fast with the typing for a taunt to even make a dent in the enemy's morale. My verdict: Far too frustrating to be entertaining. 2/5.
I'm actually pleasantly surprised. It almost resembles a game, which is a lot more than what I'd expect from someone who only got his copy of Flash less than 24 hours ago.
