Took me 15 tries. Did one each of type and then a second of Warrior and Barbarian to see (they kept starving!). But I worked best with Necromancer and after a few more turns I got to floor 12 and then got the goblet on the next go. I think there's a little bit of luck and a decent wedge of strategy, for me this was lots of mana points and skeletons, plus use of convert scroll for priests or similar was helpful. Went into last room with a few confusion and as much heath potion and mana potion as a could as their range was better so it was too difficult to run away. Just keep spawning skeletons. Fun game.
Got bored of 10 minutes clicking through the text. Don't know if the rest of the game is any good or not. If there's no way to get past the first 100 lines of text and no actual game play in that time then it's not for me.
Excellent - I died a lot and rage quit twice but really good nonetheless. Would have preferred to be able to disable the wasd as I died a few times trying to press interact and pressed jump instead and headbutted the spikes! Some of the levels felt impossible until I "got" the answer. Just the right amount of difficulty for me.
Great game however I think some of the 8*8 2-4 options do require guessing as there are too many open options. The first one I tried I gave up after about 20 minutes as there were only 4 numbers I could confirm and none I could discount. The second one I tried had 4 I could confirm and 4 I could discount so was "easier".
I would have enjoyed it more if there was a quicker way to work through the inordinate amount of text. As a result i auto answered 80% of the multiple choices without knowing what'd I'd said because I was clicking trying to get the speech to move along. Good story though.
"You have to download a different browser to play unity games"
"Really? I was just playing one 15 seconds ago"
"Yep, click our link"
"Nah, the comments are rubbish anyway, I won't bother"
Great game. Things which I think would improve it: Ability to move all survivors, Ability to set a survior to guard another suvivor (even if it was only a certain class that could do it), Upgrade to deathmobile, Better control over defences - Takes ages to set up with no gaps and even when you think there's no gaps sometimes there are. More gear slots (or option to upgrade for more). Lower build times (or "help" being more helful!) Might also like the option to build unlimited amounts of any building - with the strategy of limited space. Thanks!
Whilst not impossible (somehow I just got 108) it's way too sloppy to have to be so accurate. It allows some overlap of the arrow before dying - but how much? It's easy to over shoot and on some set ups you need to circle full pelt and still only make it if you time it to the milisecond and then manage to stop on a pin head. The retro, epilepsy indcing graphics don't help. So 3*; good game but needs tweeks to make it fun/playable.
Please don't move the "reset button" I've hit it a fraction of a second too late about 30 times now (just as it switches to the fail options) so I hit "Walkthrough" instead. Far more frustrating than the actual game.
Enjoyed it but didn't feel as involving as the original. The upgraded kit didn't feel as useful (the Epics were rarely very epic) and despite playing for many, many hours and getting all characters above lvl 10 I only saw 1 item above epic.
Very good. More frustrating than hard on the harder difficulties. Biggest gripe is the % numbers don't seem to have much relation at all to real percentages - I had the defences on about 40% chance of loss and was only losing about 10% of the time, I sent scouts at 5% chance of loss and was losing about 20% of them...
Nice game but seems to be the product of one persons logic - why doesn't dinosaur & swamp = coal? How can I create an airplane before a chariot?! Bread + meat = sandwich, Bread + fish = religion, car + weapon = tank, electricicty & house = lightbulb? It seems like it would be more fun if there were maybe 500 elements (giving more chance to hit a correct one) and seeing the world evolve. Maybe you could also choose NOT to create things like weapons and war to make the population happier!
Nowhere near as good as the original, the "physics" don't seem anything like as intuitive and it feels more trial and error to get the combination the AI wants you to use.
Thank for playing, glad you liked it! :)
