This was actually pretty fun, but I feel the need to say this. This game basically lifts elements from popular TD games down to the interface. Pre-battle is a re-skinned Gemcraft, actual gameplay is a re-skinned Cursed Treasure. It's nice that you were, uh, "inspired" by those games, but charging premium for ideas that were basically copy/pasted just smacks of bad taste.
Wolfa12, good job comparing a rogue-like and a shooter. I'd create multiple accounts to downrate your comment into oblivion if I had the time for it.
Idoyehi, great job on the game. You've got the fundamentals for a crawler down, though I do miss some commands, like the ability to close doors. Makes kiting a bit easier :D Skill/perk trees and unlockable classes would be a nice addition. Love the footstep sound effect, great music, beautiful sprites. I wish you the best and hope this pans out into a franchise for you.
Colour me sappy, but what kept me playing were the advanced reactions that let me see just how close I could get these guys back to humanity. The zombies' mannerisms and Allen's reactions are totally worth the tedium. Fantastic game. Repetitive, yes, but 5 points for so, so much effort.
Nice homage to Monster Rancher, but kind of buggy. Sometimes savage attack takes two action points instead of one. Also, according to the ability tree, I have -5 skill points :(
Very stylish game, entertaining concept and very fun. The length is just right. Bit buggy though, sometimes not enough victims show up to fill your blood quote. I find it amusing that people who are barely skeletons can still try to swim away from me. Conversely it's also hilarious that I can be a wriggling pile of exposed flesh and still competently rip humans to shreds. 4/5!
I wonder how people (I'm looking at you, Fyeth) can find the time to complain about Berzerk Studios being moneygrubbers when they aren't even charging a dime for any part of this game. So what if they've made an addictive game that, as you say, could be as popular as Angry Birds? God forbid these that developers should make some money to help fuel their projects or, I don't know, their stomachs. It's a free game, shut up and play already.
Stuck in the tutorial too because this damned grey overlay won't let me click a close button. Tab doesn't help. FYI, this is the third time I've failed to complete this tutorial. Brilliant.
Granny's voice seems to be provided by some guy squeaking as best as he can, yet she's honestly one of the most endearing characters I've encountered in a flash game so far. Well done!
The Papa games have always been awesome, but I think it's time you consider modifying the order and reward system. It's always been the most irritating aspect of the series. Why can't the order form fill out faster if not instantly? I get cups over-blended all the time because it takes customers forever to taste and pass judgment. You might even implement this as some sort of upgrade. Pretty please?
Oh my, all I have to play are two unwinnable levels and there's no way to grind more levels or XP. Solution? There is none! Undefined, I've always loved your games, but there HAS to be a way that you can allow level replays. The game is very fun and addictive as is, but having to restart because of some bad choices isn't going to encourage people to play this for very long.
Thanks :) I'm glad you liked it!
