...this is a great concept w/ horrible controls. I love rhythm games (own every guitar hero game for the Wii) and was excited when I saw this game (same concept just with different songs). The problem is that the timing is off and it glitches up easily. I play expert on GH and have gotten a five star on every song save Through the fire and flames (4 star sry) and I was finding that I couldnt keep a combo although I knew I was hitting the notes. Fix this and I'll rate it better, 2/5
maybe its just me but your village not being able to regenerate sucks and should either have less health and be refilled after every level or give the player a chance to buy defenses. Spelling is horrid and spells are kinda a pain to switch between each one. 2/5
if only this game was like real life... "why yes I would love to upgrade the comment area on kongregate" or "My girlfriend, of course I would love to upgrade her" or "let's upgrade the upgrade song Beyonce does." exactly
Is it a problem that I found trial 1 harder than any of the other trials? (took me like five times to beat the fire guy but got the other four trials done in one or two tries).
for cave 5, one thing: shadow armor (purple looking skull units) they are really strong and pretty much keep the see-through goblin from using his epic super kill attack. Beat it in like 2 minutes after I included these guys!
I would just like to say that I love the fact that as soon as one castle is destroyed the fight is over. For example: say you were... I don't know... playing the 4th cave trial with the shadow demon boss in it. well in that level every time the last stand thing (aka when they blow the horns) occurs (which I believe is three) a new boss dragon appears. so when you activate two last stands at approximately the same time, two dragons along with a massive amount of baddies will charge at you. If it wasn't for the fact that as soon as you kill the castle all the enemies die, then I would have been very dead (holding off two dragons with my own two dragons is pretty evenly matched, but when you add a billion other bad guys PLUS the fact that the total of 20 (yes 20) units can only hold there own for so long, you can see why I appreciate this feature (YAY NOT DYING!)
I take back my previous statement about my gung-ho kill em till they're dead policy. You should probably retreat after killing a giant dragon that is so epic, chuck norris keeps it as his pet. Yes, that epic. And it will be an epic battle of EPIC PROPORTIONS!!!! MWAHAHAHA!!!
and to those that have probs with the revenge waves; do what I do (which is rush at them until they have died). If you have the right troops (like giant snowman and cannons) and even then just any units, keep on attacking (a healing crystal helps out a TON!) Yay for all out tactics (it works in risk it applies here as well! lol)
This game is a lot of fun! If there is going to be a fourth, they should add a button in the middle that allows you to make all of your troops stand still (maybe you want some troops in the back to catch up or trying to hold a defense other than on the extremes of the map). And maybe make the opponents a little less "I give up". when I had conquered almost all of the board, the enemies stopped attacking during their turns for about five turns. Maybe it was coincidental or maybe not... The world may never know... lol.
Great game, 5/5...
but on one level, 5 waves of enemies literally walked off the map and it would not let me finish the level. (I watched the green dots leave the whole screen, it was really weird).
I have been a huge fan of these for a while now. Very fun, a five out of five for me, although it was a little too easy to get ship access although I liked how on normal you couldn't get everything to 100 by level 15. Awesome job, can't wiat if there is going to be a thrid!
The Impossible Quiz 1 and 2 by Splapp me do is 1000 times better than this quiz, actually, a few of these questions are the exact same as that on the impossible quiz.
