Just some quick hints for those that have posted questions:
Upside orange triangle - maker of PC audio cards and accessories
Bull on second level? - I think you mean the open source program with 3 letters
I use wmp for media player
The "company" or "software" is always correct. Pay attention to the prompt as the same product is used multiple times for both. Send me a PM or post here (again) if you are having trouble.
I didn't read through the comments to see who else might be having this problem. While creating a filler I loose a life even though a ball isn't anywhere close to my filler. When I lose a life in this way the doesn't make that "pop" sound it makes when I lose a life from directly contacting a ball with a filler I'm making. The screen does flash red, though. Great concept in my opinion. I'll play it some more if the bug gets fixed.
The concept appears to be very intriguing and challenging. However the squares don't always change color when two different tiles collide. I think this happens when the move is incorrect for the optimal solution but I'm not sure. They definitely don't always change color.
This game has too much potential to leave alone. It would fantastic if you could address the issues with randomness and issue a v2 or an update. For example, if you changed the dragon from an attack of 8 to 4+4 then you'd be assured that your powerful attack card would do at least 4 damage. Not every card would need to be tweaked in such a way but several should be.
Does anyone know the software logo with with 2 "birds" flying? It's black and white.
Or how about the company logo with the red swoop style dude with a black dot for a head?
Or how about the software logo with the windows flag on top of a blue button looking thingy?
Software with the multicolored feathers?
Company with an eye with rays of some sort shooting out of it?
AOL owns Netscape - which company should I use? Neither quick time or any variant seems to get a correct answer for the Q logo. No variation of real player seems to work for me either.
Like all games of the "type the right answer" genre this suffers from not being able to deal with slightly deviant but correct answers. It makes matters worse by never showing the correct answer.
I rated this game a 4 for innovation until my ball got stuck. I shouldn't be penalized because the program allows for the ball to get stuck (and in my case I'm not sure how I could have avoided it).
Fix the stuck ball issue with either a bump (no tilt) or something else and you may get a 4 again.
It's too difficult to select individual units when they are close together and since units don't spread out to attack it seems like combat is hindered.
The collision physics needs to be improved. Too many times I get "pushed" away from the wall or can't maneuver through the classroom well because I get stuck.
I now have a bug where my bonus attack skills are only attacking twice instead of 3 times. It's making it very hard to win the final battle when the "dark" versions are attacking three times but I'm only attacking twice.
It needs some sort of indicator as to where on the screen your mouse is located. Several times my mouse drifted off to the right and I was not able to control my paddle when I needed to.
Whatever the bonus is for defending it's too great. Also, I run into a glitch every now and then where after I click OK to add units they don't actually add.
Great music and a great idea. The instructions weren't good - because the chains give you the most points they should be described better. For instance, I had to figure out on my own that chains must be in numerical sequence and that touching a ball out of sequence ends the chain. The music and sound effects were sweet. Adding levels and removing colors that are similar (I couldn't tell the difference between a couple of them) would make this a 5.
Either move the bomb key to something closer to the space bar or make the controls customizable. I was never able to bomb anything and it didn't seem like there was any incentive to do so. Upgrades, high scores and a larger map (or smaller planes) would also make this game a 5.
