Oh shoot, I forgot to say that fire Doomsdays are great for adding fire damage early on (piling on damage early on = best fire damage when kept alive infinitely). Placing Doomsdays so they hit early (skip middle) then late = best Tank killers.
@Atheya
Hey for these later levels (done with bonus map 4) my strategy is:
Start with lightning Typhoon towers (lvl 9) + 1 ice Cannon tower + 1 shadow Cannon tower both at lvl 3.
Then I focus on adding ice Cannons all around the map while adding fire damage through fire Artillery (lvl 9), fire Pulse (lvl 6), then fire Cannons to make sure the fire is kept alive ~all throughout the map.~
That last part is the hardest to figure out... GL
Easy way to beat CoT5: amass units while avoiding the invisible frogger's attention. Have at least 3 types of archers- I won with Dwarf Eng, Centaurs, and Magic Cannon. The rest was random melee units with high population... The key to winning is to move in all at once with full pop army, starting the attack off with a Skill used on the Frogger like Lightning Stun.
MUCH less work than getting all the best archer/ranged units ^^
it's really annoying how physical attacks depend on speed for accuracy when magic attacks don't. poison bio or lightning psych > melee hydro hands down
gameplay is alright (3/5)
story development drew me in (5/5)
but ending... (1/5) did not answer any questions+does not fit with earlier parts of the story
funny glitch: elf archer killed last boss with 1 headshot. The glowing arrow was stuck in his face, giving him constant damage and push-back.
He actually went off screen and I had to let my PC idle until the timer ran down to get my win ^^
